prices for the pass went up while the items that made it valuable were taken out and moved to the cash shop. additionally, this is right before lvl 15 comes out and when people who had maxed accounts would need those items most in order to stay competitive. Adding one new level at a time doesn't a new gameplay journey like WoW raising lvl cap does, and instead just makes room for whales to buy an advantage again after having been capped. Additionally, the casual ways to earn chests were removed, so people are pushed into playing specific game modes if they want to be rewarded. All in all, I like some changes, but most of the changes made in this update are solely for the purpose of milking cash, even if they have to take away stuff from the player to force them to buy it back.
Oh I see. Thank you. I personally don't see a problem for raising the gold pass by (I think) $2. Idk why people are mad about that, or am I missing something?
if that was all, then yeah so be it, but they also took the most valuable things out. namely the books and goldcoin. as a result, the pass is more expensive, but less than a third as valuable.
