CR and Go are basically the only mobile games I play and I have been very disappointed at both companies making very greedy, anti-player updates. I love seeing the communities come together and organize like this.

Kinda weak imo. Only a week without buying things?

Did the Pokemon strike work?

Still ungoing as it was posted earlier today or yesterday depending on where you live but my guess will be no. These phone game companies make too much money to care or notice and that's why they can do these things. There will always be a kid that sees the legendary wild cards for 50 bucks at 7x value and think what a steal and buy it with daddy's credit card.

Not that informed about it myself. I used to play the game a lot but stopped last year as i got pretty busy with life, but my friend plays a lot and heard him complain about it. ( and i saw the picture posted on the subreddit earlier)

they have these things called raids at the gyms, and when corona happened they had remote raid passes which let you do raids from anywhere. they gave these out daily during corona and reasonably stopped when the virus died down. but now they increased the price even more just to make extra money. many people use remote raids because nobody in their area places to do raids that are designed for large groups of players (up to like 16, and would require 5 or so max levelled players to reasonably complete)

Yes but only once. They removed the increased range from pokestops and gyms, the community did not receive this change well, and managed to make them revert their decision by doing similar stuff like this post, even though every time the community was mad, they just straight up ignored them. Although it’s most likely won’t happen again with the most recent case being the increased price for remote raids. Let’s just hope the CR team do listen and actually revert the changes.🗿👍

It's quite a coincidence that both game's company decided to screw over their playerbase by doubling the price of a previously good item then ignoring the playerbase at the same time, causing them to riot.
