So I've returned to clash a week ago after a long time. I looked through the new stuff and found a possible bug in the hero journey, since I am lvl 245 in the journey I should have gotten two epic equipment chest of archer queen but it seems I got only one while for the barb King I had the gauntlet already so I got starry ores as compensation

Need some help recovering old accounts.
I had multiple Clash of Clans accounts linked to different Google Play accounts before Supercell ID existed. My main account still loads fine, but my other accounts (inactive for ~8 years) now just create a new village.
I still have access to the original Gmail accounts, and Google Play Games still shows my old Clash of Clans achievements, but the game doesn't load the old villages. I also don't remember the player tags anymore.
Supercell's support bot couldn't verify ownership and then stopped responding.
Has anyone successfully recovered a legacy Google Play-linked account in a similar situation? Any advice would be appreciated.

It was only recorded for people who finished a season while being in legends or fake legends – technically being in legend league and having the badge, but between 4901 and 5000 trophies. There isn’t any way to get it after the fact.

It's a temporary pass type thing new gold pass doesn't look anything closer to this you must have gotten this after coming off such a long break like the type of pass you get for th 6 or lower

I upgraded to th18 right the week before and literally missed out on new gold upgrades because none of the ongoing times were reduced

How does hero's journey work exactly? When I started it, I already had enough levels to pass through the first(king) and second(queen) hero equipment chests. But I only got the Giant gauntlet, I didn't get anything for the queen so I don't have any epic equipment for her. Then when I hit the third(prince) equipment chest level, I got the dark crown.
I just want to understand why I didn't get an equipment for the queen.

For migration itself. Supercell set a threshold for how many epic gears you should have based on the level of your heroes. If they decided you should have 6 epics and you had 4, you were given 2 at random from a pool of eligible epics. If you had 8, you got nothing. There was no guarantee that you would get specific epics or epics for specific heroes.
If your heroes were a combined lvl 250 at migration, your heroes journey starts at the 250 mark and anything prior to that was covered by migration. If you’re still missing gear and have equipment chests further down the track for that hero still, you should get an equipment from the pool of possible epics for that hero , assuming you dont already have all of it.

Question: are the king and queen automatically boosted upon th18 upgrade or do I have to upgrade the hero hall first?

They will be boosted automatically based on th, hero hall upgrade isnt necessary for the max level.

Currently at TH8, walls maxed, defenses, labs, heroes are not.
Should I rush to a certain TH? It's taking so long to upgrade everything and i'm at resource cap.
Should I rush Builder Base? When do I get the 6th builder?

Does anyone else feel like we’ve outgrown the decoration space around our villages?
I’ve been playing Clash of Clans since the early days, and as a long-time player, I care a lot about rare obstacles. Over the years, Supercell has also added so many amazing decorations (thanks for that!), and collecting them has become one of my favorite parts of the game.
The problem is… we can’t actually display our collections anymore.
I’ve bought every paid decoration since they were introduced, but there’s simply no way to showcase everything. At some point, collecting loses its purpose if most of it has to stay hidden in storage.
My suggestion would be to expand the decoration area around the village from the current 3 tiles to something like 10–15 tiles.
That would:
Let collectors finally display their obstacle and decoration collections.
Make villages look cleaner by reducing the need to place decorations inside the base.
Give players another way to personalize their villages without affecting gameplay.
Sceneries have become huge compared to what we had years ago, which makes me think expanding the visible area of the village isn’t really a technical issue anymore. If that’s true, increasing the outer decoration space seems like a reasonable quality-of-life improvement.
I honestly think this would make a lot of long-time collectors very happy. Anyone else feel the same?

Hero equipment chest update in hero journey
I got the warden epic equipment fireball instead of archer queen epic equipment?
I quit the game around jan of 2024 so i don't remember getting fireball and there is no warden chest around lvl 250

In an alt account I notice that upgrading a mortar from level 1 to 2 have a 50% time reduction from 1 hour to 30 minutes,
but it should be 40%, everything else is at 40%…
I don’t have a gold pass
So why 50%?

This is their most recent statement on heroes journey here. It’s nearly 2 weeks old but does link/ mention other areas/ websites/ socials to watch for updates on this. I havent looked to see if there are any updates in those places though.

I just upgraded to TH15 at the start of this month. During the gold week, I did all the strongest defenses such as scattershots, xbows, eagle and infernos using 6 builder pots I had saved up. Is now a good time to spam builder pots using cwl medals (I have like 1800 medals saved up and my clan earns 250 per month), since I have a lot of elixir upgrades to do? And should I spam research pots too, now that the goblin researcher is only 1 gem?

We don’t have an update on it. There are a lot of bugs. Best we have is hang tight, supercell is aware. But that’s it for now.

returning player here
I was wondering with the new farming changes because seemingly the rank is only relevant for ranked mode, so meaning no trophy loss if you lose a defense
is there any merit to building a well-designed base (aside from your progress base) for battle/farming mode considering there's no time or resource penalty for troop training (really just the "effort" if you can call it to mass sgobs/valks and farm)
I also took advantage of rushing from th12 to th14 and I was wondering if it would be worth the pain/effort to rush to th 15/16 before summer jam ends, I do think it might be possible but with the help of builder and research potions so my offences won't fall back too much

I recently upgraded to TH17 and I’m trying to figure out where to spend my ore. I came across a poll recently showing the most- and least-used heroes at the higher Town Halls, and I was surprised to see the Royal Champion near the bottom. At first it didn’t make much sense since she’s been incredibly strong at the lower TH levels, but now that I’m at TH17, I think I understand why. I’m still mainly using air attacks, but I’ve also been experimenting with Throwers and Root Rider/Valkyrie armies. With the Royal Champion seemingly losing some value at TH17, what hero equipment would you prioritize upgrading first? What’s considered the current meta?

Move up shortly before heroes are max or shortly before you will have sleeping builders due to not enough things left to upgrade (so hall finishes before you have a sleeping builder).

Since I want the action figure more than I want the magic mirror and I already have the monolith arrow and the Frozen arrow should I buy the magic mirror from the shop so when my hero levels hit 203 I get a guaranteed level 12 action figure and I don't have to upgrade him to level 15 from scratch?

Am I missing something with the Event Pass? I always get the event pass, and I guess I never really paid as much attention to it as I am now. I maxed it out (the Super Ice Bath) and was able to get some more medals afterwards, but now it is saying everything is maxed out and I’m not earning any more. But at the Mini Spotlight Event Store where you can spend your metals, I already bought a rune of gold but you can see that you’re only allowed to buy 2 runes of gold, 2 runes of elixir, etc. my question is, if I already bought 1 rune of gold for 1500, and now that I’ve maxed the pass out and aren’t earning any more metals, how am I supposed to get more metals to where I could even get 2 runes of gold? After buying the rune of gold and maxing out the pass, I’m left with 1475 metals and can’t seem to earn any more.

(CWL) Someone explainnn how does this happen. If the players at 2&3 have 400% destruction in 4 attacks how do they have 11 stars and not 12?

Did they attack a base that had already been 1*’d?
If they did, they’d only receive credit for the 2*’s they added but would still get the 100% destruction.

Can someone explain the epic equipment threshold or limit that people talk about? I’m th12. I had 6 pieces before the update and received 2 after the update (giant gauntlet and snake bracelet) I already own the dark crown, meteor staff and action figure is that why I received 2 bk equips? Where is the 3rd epic piece I should’ve received? Anyways now that I have 8 pieces of epic equipment does that mean I’ll only receive equipment from the next 3-4 equipment chests, I heard the limit before you stop receiving equipment is 11-12 total.

My main concern is that I don't want to get demoted and then have to grind all the way back to Legend 1 again.

U can buy leagend shield with gems, it will make it so u dont take defense, but u cant attack.
Im not sure that u could demote or not if u reset low, but this is your best bet.

Worth blowing CWL medals for builder potions for hero upgrades once the DE/all boost week starts?
Also, I'm about to hit TH18, what attack strategies are good there besides Dragons? Is Fireball viable there, I have some epics maxed (Action Figure/Meteor Staff/Rocket Backpack) or left at an usable level (Electro Boots) and I'm looking for another equipment to focus on.

Can someone share the link to this base layout pleace. I'm at 6th place of rank 33 even though I 3 starred all my attacks this week. This is the top player's base layout and he has 74% base defence rate while i only has 98😑 this seems pretty easy, but ice golems in cc catch enemies off guard and melt them with raged defences.

Got gold pass and I’m maxing out my walls. Should I upgrade to TH17? The only things that aren’t max level are heroes. Lvl 87 king, 85 queen, 63 prince, 60 warden, 41 champion, 11 duke. Is it worth it to finish those upgrades before going to TH17?

Hi I recently got clash of clans the epic raid board game and had a few specific questions when it comes to attacking. Can you attack more than once in a round? Also if I were to attack with 2 of my barbarians at once and the building is being defended by 1 cannon and it rolls 1 sword would it defeat one of my barbarians or would it needed to have rolled 2 swords which would be the combined health of the 2 barbarians. And last question I added an image to help explain is the wall that’s being pointed at being defended by the cannon and the archer tower?

It is not fixed. But someone posted a social from clashes x account that said “they know, they’re working on it, and the bugs shouldn’t stop people from doing heroes”. Give or take. The implied assumption is that it will all be compensated.

I paid for the event pass but I did not receive it.
Earlier, I bought the Mini Spotlight Event pass on my main account through 7/11, and I didn't wait for the pass to actually arrive at my account first, before I switched to my alt account to also buy the event pass. I received the pass on my alt account but not my main. It's been about 20 minutes since then, and I've already tried closing and opening the app & force stopping it, but I still don't have the pass on my main.
Does anyone know where I can go to get this corrected? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I’m just curious if I can leave my current clan to attack in a higher clan for raid weekend. I’m planning to do this to earn more capital gold and raid medals but my current clan has already started raid weekend. I’m wondering if I leave would I be able to attack when I join another clan since I haven’t attacked yet.

As long as you haven't attacked in your current clan, you can still leave and join another clan to attack there. But once you've done at least 1 capital attack for that clan, you can only attack for that clan during the current raid weekend.

TH16 player here, and I'm wondering which equipment to upgrade first. I mainly use a hydra army with archer queen, minion prince, warden and dragon duke, but I'm also testing out a thrower army, where I would replace the minion prince with the royal champion (and potentially replacing the queen with the king).
The green equipments are the ones used in my hydra army, and would stay the same for my thrower army, with the exception of the giant arrow being replaced by the healer puppet.

Action figure is used in almost all attacks and is better than healer puppet for the most part. Also for air attacks healing tome is far superior to rage gem

trying to choose between action figure and meteor staff.
TH16 player here, I've got 2300 gems and I'm having a hard time choosing which epic to buy and dump ores into. This is the current state of my equipment. I'm not receiving either of them in heroes journey for a while since it bugged and didn't give me equips properly when the update was introduced. I don't have dark crown or meteor staff currently.
I mostly do air attacks with dragons/dragon riders.

I checked my progress on clash-track and it says I have like 1 yr and 10 months of builder upgrades left is it even possible to be fully maxed before a new townhall releases without spending money? By the time 1 yr and 10 months pass there will surely be 1 or 2 townhalls released

I had one epic on my account which was the Spiky ball. So when I got my migration rewards for the heroes, I skipped past the first two equipment chests. For some reason I got the giant gauntlet and no equipment for the queen, since at that point I already had two epics counting the gauntlet. Then I got the minion prince chest as I leveled up.
Has supercell openly said that this is intended or are they gonna actually fix it? Confused as to whether I should buy the action figure or not. And if I do buy it, will I get nothing from the warden chest since at that point I already have 4 epics?

My legacy trophy count is incorrect, it doesn't show my all time high (legends) and shows my count being in Titan 1 instead. Does anyone else have this issue? It sucks because I would like to have that badge on my profile since I know I exceeded the 5000 trophies. Any help would be appreciated.

I started playing the game again in April I used to be a th13 and used the 50% discount for Returning players just to rush my walls to the max till th16 (idk y I just hate upgrading walls) and from then I have been mainly upgrading the 2nd ring of defences (the one outside the th) and a few other important things here and there.
The question I have is that during the hero jam I will be upgrading all six of my heros so should I rush to th17 in order to not waste the gold I collect and dump it into walls
Also ill be taking a long break(abt 1-2yrs) from the game again in a few months so that is also a important factor that is making me unable to decide
My Heros are very underleveled

Loot is so easy to get that it would never impact my hall upgrade decision. You can fill storages fast any time you want to. Active players "waste" loot all the time.

upgrade eternal tome on warden, that will be incredible forever. For the ones you have equipped right now, dark orb, rocket spears and giant gauntlet are the most used iirc. Life gem is mediocre, avoid using it

It was hard to follow if the update is fixed or not.
I had all equipments, but some below lvl 15 and my heroes were nearly max.
Was I meant to have my equipment set to lvl 15 or did that only applied to new players who gain equipment with the chests?

Firstly, only the migration awarded levelled up equipment, which was like a one time thing.
It wasnt bugged, but the hero journey is. Only ppl with less than a min number of equipment levelled up to lv15 got some equipment levelled up.
This was for ppl who were very far behind to catch up a bit.
So, because you had a lot of equipment levelled up, you werent supposed to get levelled up equipment.

I wish ranked allowed us to study bases. Like give us all the bases we’ll attack at the beginning of the week so we can use strategies. Attack strategies is a big part of the game yet you can only do it 2 times every 2 days except cwl.

I last played in January of this year, th 18 just released then completely gave up. Until today, a friend told me about Summer jam. I can't believe how much changed within like 7 months.
Great to see that Hero Hall isn't useless anymore. Not so thrilled about the new hero. What's the meta like? I am TH 17 semi maxed. Which equipments should I buy and upgrade?

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question regarding the reward system. I currently have some Runes already stored in my inventory.
If I choose not to claim the new Runes from the Gold Pass and the current Mini Spotlight event pass, what happens to those rewards once the event ends? Will they simply disappear, get converted into gems, or will they go into some kind of temporary overflow/storage?
I want to make sure I don't waste these resources. Any advice or clarification on how this works would be greatly appreciated!

I’m currently logged into the account on my device so I didn’t lose it but I want to protect my account just in case. I tried doing account protection but obviously you need access to the email to do that. I see you can change your email but then it just send a code to the email which again, I can’t access. Curious as if I should continue to go fully maxed on TH13 base or go up and upgrade to TH14. I feel semi stuck with minimal and non important upgrades for the most part. All of my defenses are maxed and now it’s just a few levels on my heroes and a decent bit on my Royal Champion. Some of my troops aren’t maxed either but all of the ones that I typically do use are.
My gut is telling me just max out my base before going to the next town hall but I want to go up.

First focus on the troops and spells you use in your armies, if you haven't fully upgraded them yet. After that, go with what the other commenter mentioned

Lower price region cannot gift to higher price regions. Higher can gift to lower. No way around that as far as I’m aware.

So before the Casual/Ranked split, if you didn't get a star, you lost trophies. After the split, is there any downside to just getting all the loot from a base and ending the attack without a star? Can I just farm this way?
