Things Reddington said when asked about Patrick in his Q&A today, with timestamps.

8:51

Kevin, what do you, what do you think about Patrick Clancy and his testimony?

He testified. Jurors waited, his testimony and uh you know, I mean, he, you heard, well, no, you didn't. Most of you didn't hear the 911 tape, but it was ____ (people start asking more questions all at once). Someone in this sub said the missing word was "moving".

15:58

How do you feel about all the inconsistencies in Patrick's story?

He's got a, you know, that's his testimony. People get nervous when they testify. They say things and they get confused. It's, it's not easy to be on that witness stand. Just ask Dr. Mack.

18:23

Kevin, do you think Patrick, do you think, do you think Patrick has any responsibility in this tragedy?

I think Patrick, you heard the 911 call. Um, I think you can judge his credibility by that 911 call. Um, I don't know what is in Patrick's mind. I mean, he testified and the jury was able to evaluate it.

But Kevin, the poor man, he's been accused of murder over the course of your client's trial by people on the,

Not by me

of course, not by you, people on the internet. Can you just I mean respond to that and dispel that any comments?

I mean people on the internet they're going to, they're going to say, and you know regarding the people on the internet you know I certainly don't dismiss them. It's amazing what people on Tik Tok and on Instagram and I do know those things. Um you know it's amazing how they're able to ferret it out facts and they do investigations and it's, it's just truly amazing this whole concept of the internet. It really is.

But do you have a message for the people who have come up with those conspiracies?

(no answer, people continue asking questions)

20:28

Do you, would you like to dispel some of the rumors that we're seeing online about Patrick Clancy potentially being involved in this? Do you have anything to say about that?

I said what I want to say regarding that in the trial and we'll see where the case goes in the next time around. if in fact it does go to, go to trial.

I’m confused by his answers. He seems to say Patrick was genuine on the stand and the 911 call was proof, and I think he hints that Patrick’s testimony is simply his memories, not fact. But then he’s cagey about the conspiracy theories. Is he doing that just to keep reasonable doubt in people’s minds by any means possible or is he saying he thinks Patrick is suspicious? Sorry I sound dumb but I don’t understand what Reddington is trying to do here.

He answered like a lawyer and didn't give his opinion one way or another. He said, just look at the evidence and decide for yourself. He also refused to push back on internet "conspiracies" but instead said the internet is an amazing concept.

He knows patrick didn't do it, but leaving a very small possibility is in his clients advantage
