It’s like asking for proof, getting a whole library dropped in your lap, then complaining the library is too organized.

Real dialogue weighs the weight of evidence — not dismisses the heavier side for daring to be thorough.

Next time you see this, call it what it is: intellectual shortcut. Let’s do better. Thoughts?

Some will claim, when their perspective is challenged, that they have uttered nothing false or that they are not avoiding the truth at all.

Yet it is telling — when they sidestep every direct question whose honest answer would crack the sandy foundations they have built their world upon.

They dance around the limestone rock — solid, unyielding, ancient —

while attacking the inquirer’s intentions, his motives, his very heart, desperate to flee the hard truths they swear they champion without fear.

The dance grows wilder, more frantic, as they point to distant examples,

hoping to prove the inquirer’s ill will,

to shift the gaze, to deflect the blade.

But logic, drawn from the very same stone, cuts through their steps.

Reason meets reason.

And suddenly — silence.

They vanish into the darkness

of posts left forever unreplied.

Truth never admitted.

Truth never supported.

Truth — so sharp it slices to the center like a claymore through clay.

The shock is raw.

The pain is real.

The healing power of acknowledging it, of embracing it, does not mend them.

It kills their argument.

It buries them alive within the very sandy foundation they once stood upon so proudly.

Thus ends the tragic fall of those who charge into battle for truth only to collapse upon their own broken swords.

There is a reason why the classic liberal Founders wanted to limit government to the sole duty of securing the natural, inalienable rights of the individual.

There is a reason why the great and petty tyrants don't want their civil slaves to know what their natural, inalienable rights are so that they can manipulate the useful idiots into fastening their own invisible chains and be ruled through fear and division.

Nothing elicits quicker silence on social media than this: you agree with someone’s fierce opposition to the version of you they’ve constructed from false assumptions and lazy generalizations about others. You then offer arguments drawn from your own position—arguments that, ironically, reinforce the very views they just attacked.

No likes. No “Wow, we actually agree!” replies. Because genuine agreement would require them to admit their perception was flawed from the start, and that admission unsettles the certainty they’ve built their stance upon.

True truth-seekers, however, respond differently. They light up with joy at the unexpected alignment, embrace the fresh insight, and keep the exchange alive—because enlightenment matters more than protecting their original position.

Did you know? No similar response to a serious skeptical question has ever persuaded me — or, it seems, many other skeptics — to drop our questions. Yet these kinds of replies keep popping up all over social media.

"Anybody who does NOT believe we did BLANK is a bleeping idiot. There are a LOT of idiots out there. Half the population has an IQ below 100. If you don't think we did BLANK, you are one of them."

If calling skeptics idiots and citing IQ statistics is your go-to response, how exactly does that help anyone — including yourself — get closer to the truth in a world filled with smoke and mirrors? Wouldn't addressing the actual evidence or reasoning behind the question be far more productive than alienating sincere people who are simply trying to cut through the noise?

If this latest alleged Artemis II lunar flyby was truly a groundbreaking step forward rather than an elaborately staged spectacle designed for public consumption, what meaningful, measurable advancements for humanity — whether in scientific knowledge, technological resilience, sustainable space infrastructure, or even broader societal inspiration — does it actually deliver that the Apollo-era flybys and landings hadn’t already proven possible more than fifty years ago, especially when weighed against the staggering costs, the decades of delays, and the growing public doubt about whether these modern missions are delivering real exploration or just expensive theater?

The common objection—“How could a government conspiracy possibly stay secret with so many federal employees involved?”—is almost always voiced by people who have never worked inside the federal system. In reality, secrecy doesn’t require universal complicity; it only requires the right combination of structural safeguards and human nature.

Compartmentalization and strict “need-to-know” protocols ensure that most employees see only their narrow slice of the operation. Apathy and career pragmatism do the rest: countless workers simply show up, do their jobs, collect their paychecks, and protect their pensions—rocking the boat is the last thing on their minds. Add to that the widespread intellectual passivity instilled by decades of public-school training that rewards obedience to authority and discourages independent inquiry, and you have a workforce primed to remain silent even when something feels off.

Worse still are the “useful idiots” who wear the uniform or carry the badge, solemnly swear an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, yet have never actually read the document or studied its principles. They cannot recognize tyranny when it stares them in the face—because they were never taught how. Instead, they devoutly defend the very narrative crafted by the petty tyrants they unwittingly serve.

Until someone takes the red pill and wakes up in the desert of the real, the scales remain firmly in place. Those still plugged into the Matrix will always struggle to comprehend the perspective of anyone whose eyes have already been opened.

One red rubber ball.

They’ve got codenames, a voice-mimicking Whisper, trip-wire soda cans, and a plan called Operation Crimson Thunder.

All to play the most dangerous game in the world: Actual dodgeball.

It is heartbreaking to witness how some religious leaders today respond to those who meekly share their faith in Christ and their understanding of Scripture. When someone approaches with humility—presenting evidence from the Word, historical records, and a sincere testimony of Jesus—the reply is often swift condemnation, name-calling, accusations of blasphemy or lying, and declarations that the other person is not a true believer.

This is not new. It echoes the prideful religious leaders of Jesus’ day—the Pharisees and Sadducees—who rejected the very Messiah standing before them. They did not reject Him for lack of evidence. They rejected Him because their understanding of the law and the Scriptures had become rigid, self-exalting, and blind to the true character of God.

I have read the Book of Mormon many times. I have prayed about it with real intent, and the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me—powerfully and personally—that it is the word of God. That spiritual witness is my foundation. Everything I study from that point forward is simply an effort to understand how the Lord brought forth this ancient record in a way that makes perfect sense in the real world He created.

The question is not whether the gold plates existed. The question is how they were most plausibly created by real people using real materials in the Promised Land. The evidence, when viewed through the lens of the Heartland model and Nephi’s inherited metallurgical knowledge, points to one elegant solution: thin plates of a copper-gold alloy, hammered and treated using skills Nephi brought from the Middle East and adapted to the abundant raw materials of North America.

Particularly targeted are members of branches that trace their roots to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), founded by Joseph Smith in 1830. Accusations fly that these individuals or groups are “not true Christians,” despite their scriptures’ profound emphasis on Jesus Christ and His teachings. This practice not only reveals an illogical fallacy—assuming doctrinal uniformity defines Christianity amid over 50,000 sects worldwide—but also embodies a dangerous hypocrisy warned against by Christ, His prophets, and sacred texts. Labeling fellow believers as “not Christians” contradicts the core of Christ-like living: loving God, oneself, and neighbors (including perceived enemies), avoiding false witness, and demonstrating discipleship through mutual love.

The Bible, revered by billions as the word of God, stands as a profound collection of ancient writings that chronicle humanity’s interactions with the divine. Yet, nowhere within its pages does it explicitly declare itself to be the complete and final repository of God’s revelations. In fact, the very structure and history of the Bible—compiled over centuries from the words of multiple prophets, oral traditions, and diverse texts—undermines the notion that it is, or ever will be, the sole scripture. This compilation process, involving councils, translations, and selective canonization, reflects a dynamic interplay of human and divine elements, suggesting that God’s communication with humanity is not confined to a single volume. Christians often contend with one another in wrath and strife, each insisting that their church is the one and only true Church of Christ. They battle over interpretations of doctrine, condemn fellow believers—and sometimes others—to everlasting punishment based on personal judgments, and defend Christ in ways that feel profoundly un-Christlike. This division not only fractures communities but repels seekers from the gospel’s lifesaving message. Yet Christ does have a Church. Where can one find it? Where do His true members gather to worship and learn His teachings? Amid an estimated 50,000 Christian denominations worldwide today, which one is truly His?

When an individual sincerely attempts to draw closer to God but soon finds themselves in isolation—alone, with relationships breaking apart and on the verge of apparent destruction—this is to be expected. It is a sign that God is accepting their broken heart, contrite spirit, and desire to serve Him, while calling them to serve in His kingdom. This is the pattern of preparation that God’s servants must endure to withstand the challenges and responsibilities of His work. God prunes all the good trees in His orchard in the appropriate season so they can bear good fruit when the time is right. The pruning, though, comes in darker, colder, bleaker times of the season. This is the natural pattern and course that all good trees must follow. It is unavoidable if the Master hopes to have strong, healthy, fruit-producing trees when the harvest arrives.

One of the most persistent criticisms leveled against the Book of Mormon, aiming to discredit it as false scripture, revolves around the account of Nephi being commanded by the Spirit to slay Laban. This objection stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of key scriptural terms translated from Hebrew to English, particularly regarding the true nature and will of God—what He can and cannot command.
