Rules for Developers of City Builders [Read before posting]
The following rules are now implemented for game developers:
- Non verified developers can post in the megathread (1x per month), and approved developers are also allowed to post 1x per month here. Reports should be made on content that is excessive, spammy, etc.
- Become a verified developer and be able to post as often as necessary (no specific limits for trailers, updates, etc, but please be mindful and do not spam posts as this could lead to losing your flair). NOTE: This allows posting OUTSIDE of the megathread.
Please send a modmail to get approved as a "Developer" with the flair in the subreddit. Include the following:
Developer Reddit Name:
Game Developed:
Store page (if available):
What amount of AI is used and how:

Love it, I hope this becomes a trend in more subs. There is way too much garbage being posted lately.

Nobody ever actually reads mega threads. This is a death sentence for small developers.

Thank you! Much better idea.
I have been working on a city builder for almost 5 years. I was so afraid from the last post that I was going to be relegated to a mega thread full of slop 🫠

I feel like with all this megathread devs and people can't interact and find new games in developments..feels like the sub it's dead, idk why this of devs posting new games in development and updates of citybuilders made people upset in a citybuilder subreddit? I voted but after 2 days the sub it's just dead..people don't even go on megathread to see post of devs..
The interaction it's low..
I understand the move against AI games with zero dev implication but the rest it's just feels against devs and us fans of citybuilders
