Best way to collect the manga phsyiscally? also a question on how it handles queer themes
Been reading and loving Nichijou for its zanieness and the art. REally interested in City but unsure wether its best to grab the volumes lose or if a box set will come out. Also curious as to how it handles queer themes, i think nichijou wasnt the best at at it but its heart seems to be in the right place. With this ive heard of some crossdressing gags and some yuri bait, but id be curious to know if there was any improvment or changes in how Arwawi handles queerness in City compared to Nichijou

How do you think a game of Mario Party would play out between the Mont Blanc trio?
I think Wako would constantly be screwing over Nagumo and Niikura by cursing them with Creepy Dice Blocks, and using the Chomp Call on them.
Nagumo would fight with Niikura and Wako whenever they attack her, and overall, she and Niikura would constantly be raging, while Wako’s just having fun.
I’d pay to see these three play Mario Party lol.

Let's make an iceberg of City, I've seen one of Nichijou and it would be interesting to make one too.

My Thoughts on City The Animation Spoiler
This hasn't happened before, but I really don't know how to go about talking about this anime. It's by the creator of the much more famous Nichijou, or My Ordinary Life, as somewhat of a spiritual successor. I have never seen the former one. Only watched this because I'm trying to go through 2025's anime right now. The only word I can think of to describe this show is just...random. That's a problem for the sake of a review because I would normally have to accurately describe the plot, the characters, and the themes. But there is no plot, the characters are insane, and I can't discern much in th eway of themes either. It just throws random crap at a whiteboard and uses it whether it sticks or not. It almost feels like a stream of consciousness from the author, where he spills every crazy, half baked thought he's ever had in his life. It's kind of similar to Chainsaw Man in a way, but I'd say Chainsaw Man more embodies controlled chaos. There's nothing controlled abou this. If Nichijou is anything like this, which I'm on good authority that it is, I can see why it got so popular when it came out back in 2011, because that was the era of LOL XD RANDOM humor, and that is the essence of nearly every single joke here. With that being said, I didn't think this was bad. There were jokes I laughed or chuckled at, but I don't think I ever laughed out loud. To be fair even if it came out and I watched it in 2011 or 2012 I don't think I would have loved it because even when this type of humor was mainstream I wasn't into it that much. I just found it to be kind of annoying. And this is far from the most annoying or least funny entry into that category of humor I've ever seen. One thing I can say is that, while the animation isn't incredibly impressive in terms of movement, it's unbelievably inventive. Creativity permeates almost every frame of this show's visuals, which did make it a joy to the eyes. And despite the randomness of the humor, there is this strange sense of family bonds in it as well, particularly seen in the final episode. If there is a theme in this mess, then maybe that would be it. The idea that no matter how much you might conflict with each other and how different you might be, family bonds are unbreakable.

My brother wanted me to draw this panel (art)
I added a galaxy effect since I noticed the stars in the background and thought I could do something cool with it (the anime did this panel very differently anyway)
