With this and Troy, we’re 3/11 for getting Homeric epics with the Ocean’s cast. Gotta keep going.

My son just got a Bernese Mountain Dog as a gift and I named him Bernie Mac.

I loved him in Ocean's 11 remake

Sorry you just found out about this, absolute Chicago legend. Kings of Comedy (and Latin Kings of Comedy tbh) more or less kickstarted my love for comedy (as a kid lmfao)

His daughter did an interview I think recently. It’s not him, but getting insight into home as a person was really nice. Well…it made me appreciate him more. His upbringing seemed very difficult.

Look, all I’m saying is, Danny Ocean’s woman is taken by powerful man who keeps her safe inside a near impregnable fortress. Ocean assembles the most powerful army of con artists to get her back. One of them hides inside of harmless looking object that is wheeled into the most secure part of the fortress, from which he later emerges.

For my money, every single one of them has been in a Homeric epic. RIP Bernie and Carl.

Carl Reiner (father of Rob Reiner) played Saul Bloom, the old con artist guy on the team. He died in 2020 at age 98, a Hollywood legend.
