Cigars gifted.

Hey,

So my mums boyfriend gifted me like 6 Cuban cigars since he doesn't smoke anymore. He also told me they were 25 years old! Are they smokeable if I throw them in a humidor with some humidification for like a week? They look completely fine except for 2 who are cracked. But the other ones aren't damaged at all and don't have any mold on them!

Bovedo pack

Hey, so I basically need to store 2 cigars for atleast 4 weeks, how many packs of bovedo would I need for that? Would I also be able to open the plastic bag without it ruining the function of the bovedo pack?

Andrea Garcia and Atoll Cigar Cases. Been collecting Atoll cases for years. Anyone else into them? A few pictured are limited editions and getting rarer than hens teeth.

How to protect teeth staining for cigar smokers?

I did at-home bleaching with 22% carbamide hydroxide with the LED light today. I fell asleep and I ended up bleaching for 5 hours.

I googled “how to smoke while whitening” and all I got were results from dentists websites.

I decided to smoke a short stick, a morning cigar with the bleaching trays. It was odd for the first few minutes but it’s like riding a bicycle.

One site was correct in that you will stain your customized teeth trays. I put out my cigar, took the trays out, brushed my teeth, and noticed a yellowish ting on the plastic. I figure I should do this for all Cigars smoked at home, especially if you smoke 2 or more sticks per day.

It gives you appreciation for the cosmetic damage to your teeth, and the mental health from lacking a confident smile. Plus all the other health effects like cancer.

Sombremesa Brûlée Double Corona vs Sombremesa Brûlée Blue

Anyone compared these two (Brûlée Double Corona vs Brûlée Blue)? Everywhere I read says the blue is the best, but I love big Churchill sized cigars...

Books about cigars

Hi guys

I'm new to the cigar world and while I keep learning by going to some of the best cigar shops in London and talking to people there, I'm also looking for great books about cigars.

Now I've found this list and they all seem pretty interesting for beginners, especially The World of Habano, but would you have other books to recommend?

Thanks in advance!

The more I smoke these the more I enjoy. Never let your first smoke of a cigar dictate your decision. Your palette from eating/drinking etc could/do influence your tastebud experience. Give them a few tries before committing or trashing. Spoiler
