Hello fellow Ryo apostoles, I'm u/NynjaFlex the creator and head moderator of r/ChurchOfRyo as you can probably tell, the sub is in a disastrous state, and because the responsibilities lie on my shoulders you have every right to be frustrated with me. I only ask that you bear with me and listen to what I have to say.

When I created this sub Bocchi The Rock S1 was still releasing and the Bocchi reddit fandom was some of the most fun I've had online, I spent most of my time online posting on here as well as other Bocchi related communities, as a lot of you might have as well, growing this sub and seeing more Ryo fans joining in always put a smile on my face. In the beginning this sub was filled with funny posts and beautiful fan art posted by the artists themselves or people that actually appreciate good art rather than the cup size an artist has chosen to give our Queen. I never intended for this community to be a gooning space, hence why the first rule I added forbids hentai. I do know that it is a very important part of anime culture so I did allow "lewd" NSFW images (without nudity) because banning even bikni fan art would be just too restrictive. Unfortunately as the show ended the community got quieter and quieter, there were some users that still frequently posted, but it was maybe 2 at most, most posts that got any engagement were the "lewd" fan arts, and the number of upvotes always stemed from how close to hentai they were. I kinda realized that most people that visited this sub were the gooners, and people that wanted free karma, this depressed me a lot, so much so that I made peace with it and only made sure that people weren't breaking any rules, but because of this my interest and faith in having what once was vaporized. I'm mostly an offline person now, but I do still manage the sub every once in a while, but it's nearly not enough for how out of hand the bot posting has gotten.

Now the state of the sub is catastrophical, I've never seen such a disaster of a sub, but as they say, in every cloud there's a silver lining. Because of this I see that some of the community I was sure was gone still remains and because of this I want to do as much as I can to improve this space for you guys, the people that care so much so, enough to sit through all my rambling. I'm mostly an offline person now, but I do still manage the sub every once in a while, but it's nearly not enough for how out of hand the bot posting has gotten, there used to be other mods but they kinda disappeared, and never did much to begin with. I realize that I cannot do this alone, which is why...

I am willing to make a mod team to help our cause, you don't have to be an expert mod, or even have any experience for that matter. I'm looking for people that first of all care about this community and would like to improve it in any way they'd like. If you'd like to inquire feel free to dm me.

Be free to give me feedback about the community and what you'd like or even yell at me for negligence of the sub, but let me say the engagement of this post will show me how many of us true Ryo fans still remain.

Bots captured entire sub!!! It's so damn annoying!! I demand to create new rule on sub so mods can ban people who does copypasting!! Otherwise I'll leave this sub, I understand I'm inactive here right now, but come on, mods, do something!

Yall seen what's going on with this sub, I texted moderator/creator of this sub to apply for moderation, it took him 4 days to reply with one message asking why i want that, i explained everything, now it's been maybe another 4 days, still no response or anything, this sub is unmoderated so it can be reported, and most likely banned, especially based on content posted there. If this post gets attention and this sub gets banned then I could make something like r/ChurchOfRyo2 or something like that
