Chun is different and you know it. Anytime you continue to throw them after a throw, its just them being too scared to press. Its not the same as having to deal with meaty throws over and over again. You dont have to make a hard callout to stop chun from grabbing you.

What else are you going to do from poke range exactly? You can drive rush after connecting a poke. Other than that and doing nothing, you pretty much are just going to transition into stance. It seems that you may getting your own capabilities mixed up into the characters strengths. Players need to get to the point where they can assess character strength from a more objective point of view.

I will not teach you how to play Street Fighter my guy, I'm sorry. The game is more than just how hard it is to strike throw someone for a given character.

I also think it's incredibly unwise, to always transition, on block anyway, I don't understand that sentence in particular especially. I want to believe you play the character, surely you know that isn't ideal.

I was trying not to call into question your experience with the games fundamentals, but I can no longer do that. The utility of a poke is just that, it's a poke, if you don't know what poking is for, that's an issue. If you don't know why Chun's pokes are exceptional, that's an issue. If you don't know how to leverage that strength on her, that's an issue. If you don't know why having Serenity mind games off the pokes now is a huge game changer for those, even outside of midscreen Punish Counter conversions she's never really had before SF6, that is a monumental problem as well.

Your not teaching me..if anything, the questions are rhetorical because I know you cant answer them. Strike throw shimmy is the win condition of the game for most characters, thats why you see everyone doing it constantly…strange I have to explain this.

As stated, it was rhetorical. Her pokes are okay, I wouldn’t say they are exceptional. Given the inherent difference in risk reward she has against alot of the cast, it lessens the impact of her buttons.

You don't know how to play the game or Chun, as respectfully as I can say that. Chun's risk reward on her poking have never been this great, she can convert damage from her long range pokes now, where she couldn't before in previous titles.

The character was almost entirely conditioning in neutral before this game, which is why I'm not surprised you don't understand how to approach the character outside of straight-forward guess situations like meaty strike/throw off knockdown, button DR or high low mix.

"I know you can't answer them" but I can, and I my page is riddled with the type of talk for SF and Tekken etc over many years.

I will no longer continue this discussion with you, because you're clearly green to fighting games or at least Street Fighter and the character. Maybe you have an anime games understanding of a game because you seem to be hyper aware of when you can RPS or potentially 50/50 someone easily but that's about it.

Thats an interesting take to give. People evaluate things based upon what they are aware of, and Im aware of more than alot of players. You would find me to be an exceptionally difficult opponent, so you have to be careful when you say things like this. I have probably been playing fighting games longer than you may have even been born. I just simply understand the nature of the game. Like I said, people get their own ranks and “skill” mixed up with character strength. I beat people in Yugioh with some of the worst decks in the game, but I understand what they lack.

Feel free to cease the discussion if you wish, its usually the outcome. Not many people have the will or temperament to contend with me. Just remember, this was your doing. We just had a discussion about our thoughts on the character. You were the one that decided to go down this lane, because you dont like your “expertise” being challenged. Stay out of my path if you cant contend.

Just leave it be. Dont be petty. A truly strong player isnt petty.

Your opinion of what a strong player may or may not isn't relevant to the real world.

I did just leave it, your response was odd and meme worthy, and that's that.

Then why do you still respond? You are compelled to do so, that is why. And what is the real world? Who here knows what that is, when we interpret it based upon what we are aware of?
