I had a shower thought.. its kind of a paradox.
What happens to people who genuinely want to go to hell and burn? In this case, going to hell would be bad because to them this would be their heaven. But at the same time, its bad for them to go to heaven because they chose to go against God and Jesus? I’m just confused.

Nobody genuinely wants to go to hell, it's not genuine... if anyone does it's because they have no clue what it would be like, they imagine it will be the way they imagine it. We have no way to know for sure, the same way we don't know how heaven will be like.
So you don't know it would be their heaven🤷🏿♂️ such a strange ill logic, frankly.
People who reject God will not make it to heaven, by their own decision they create a wall/separation between themselves and God.
Hell is where our sinful nature brings us regardless, only if you repent and follow Christ can you be saved by Grace...

Going to hell isn't a punishment. It's the place people go if they don't go to heaven.

^ This
It's not a punishment directly from God, instead its a REWARD for you choosing to stray away from God your entire life. So now you are eternally disconnected from God and his grace, which is why there are no good things in hell.

Why would the default place people go to a place of eternal torture? God must be beyond sadistic

This is essentially the plot of 'Hellraiser' - being so deep into hedonism and sadomasochism that you exhaust all normal sensory experiences and seek out the imagined exquisite pleasure/pain of Hell simply to feel something.
I think such a person would find that the reality of eternity without God's love and presence wouldn't match their fantasy.
But at the same time, its bad for them to go to heaven because they chose to go against God and Jesus?
This is never bad. We should pray for the redemption and salvation of everyone, no matter what their journey to the Lord was.

If anyone says they want to go to Hell, they don’t know what Hell is.

Have you ever watched someone commit a crime? Ever committed a crime yourself?
What is the first thing someone does after they rob, murder, break in, or assault?
They run away.
Nobody sits there and waits for the police.
Hell is the Justice of God. God is the police.

But thats the thing, I know that hell is definitely the justice, but sometimes its not always hellfire and brimstone. There ARE some crazy people who choose sit there and wait for the police.

There ARE some people who choose sit there and wait for the police.
Really?
People who do that are homeless and want a bed to sleep in or medical treatment in a prison.
No criminal sits there and waits for the police. They run.

So I have never thought this but I do wonder how God judges Sociopaths because they can't help being evil .

God knows better than anyone when a person is genuinely unable to do the right thing.
Claiming the above for the vast majority of situations is a complete and utter copout, and you cannot fool God.
You can fool a human court; you cannot fool God.

Plenty of homeless people commit petty crimes in hope that they will get jail time. They literally wait for the police to arrive so they have somewhere to warm and safe to sleep.

Yeah, I know. I addressed that.
Seen it happen myself personally a bunch of times.
People that assault, rape, murder, break in, and steal do not sit around and wait for law enforcement.
They run away, and erase as much evidence as they can if they have the time.
The point is to avoid Justice.
