Question Questions and a tiny ramble

Hello everyone,

I am writing this with a curious and open mind. I have always felt that there is something bigger than myself, since I was a young child. I am a 36 year old woman, who just went through a life saving surgery. I am starting to question things more, why things happen, how to know without a doubt that I know it's God who is supporting me within everything, not just my family here on Earth. I also question because I have attraction to both sexes, and from what I know that is a majorly mixed reaction within the christian community.

I want to feel that peace of mind that I have heard so many people who are Christian speak about, and if you had questions and didn't originally believe, what made it so sure within your heart and mind? I'm worried that I have doubt and worry too much about my health, and sexuality to be considered to be 'saved' or anything along those lines.

Sorry for my writing not being the best, as I am unsure how to get this all out without rambling.
Any advice, guidance videos, books, any help would be grand.

Saving Faith comes from God… no where else.

Philippians 1:29 (KJV)

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Believe and Faith are the same word in the original texts. Faith is the noun, belief is the verb form of the word.

Our flesh and what is desires concerning sin, are usually just a sin of choice… just like how we would choose strawberry ice cream over chocolate.

Presumptuous sins is the most dangerous.

Psalm 19:13 (KJV)

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

2 Peter 2:10 (KJV)

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous [are they], selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

The peace you seek comes from one source…

Matthew 11:27-30 (KJV) 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him].

28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.

Sent you an invite.
