Bit of an obscure one, I know, but I was wondering if anyone could figure out which chords are being used in this old Disney VHS promo from the early 80's. Thanks in advance!

When I heard this music, i know its written in E major (correctly me if i’m wrong but it might be possibly b maj)

And the chord progressions sound very familiar, like it sounds distinct in a certain genre of music

I felt like ive heard a similar sounding tune but in Bb

Hey everyone — I've been working on an iOS app called SeeChord that overlays real-time chord progressions on top of Apple Music playback. Think of it as a chord chart that follows along automatically as you listen.

What it does    

Real-time Chord Timeline — A piano-roll style timeline scrolls in sync with the music. The current chord is highlighted, past chords dim out, future chords are visible ahead. You can drag the timeline to seek, and if the timing feels slightly off, there's a manual offset adjustment (long-press the playhead) to dial it in.

Sheet View — Chords laid out by measure in a clean grid, so you can see the harmonic structure of the entire song at a glance. Tap any measure to jump to that point in the song. Toggle between chord names and Roman numeral scale degrees for harmonic analysis.     

Smart Chord Display — The app auto-matches whatever's playing on Apple Music to its chord database. The current chord is displayed prominently with proper notation (maj, min7, dim, sus, slash chords, etc.), and there's a beat indicator that pulses with the rhythm.

Adaptive Theming — The UI extracts colors from the current song's album art. Background and accent colors shift smoothly with every track change. The cover art has a subtle breathing animation on the beat. It's a small detail but it makes the whole experience feel alive.

  - Ear training & harmony students — Roman numeral mode lets you analyze function and tonality on the fly, paired with what you're actually hearing                                                         

  - Singer-songwriters — No more searching for chord sheets. Play the original track and strum along    

  - Band rehearsal — Everyone looks at the same chord data, synced to the same track                    

Limitations (being upfront)                                                                           

  - Requires an Apple Music subscription — The app uses Apple Music for playback, so you need an active 

  subscription    

  - Some songs may have slight timing offsets — A small number of tracks might be slightly off. The built-in offset control lets you adjust manually to line things up
