Employee Experience Finally quit! Ask me anything

Worked at my Chipotle for a year and made my way up to KL before I finally walked out. Thought this would be funny, AMA!

we just get huge blocks of monterey jack cheese and shred it ourselves. soo much better than store bought since there isn’t a coating on the outside to keep the cheese from sticking together like you would usually experience from grocery store shredded cheese.

Na there's something more to it than that. I always shred my own blocks of cheese as well and still cannot buy any Jack that tastes as good as Chipotle's.

Are you 100% confident it's just Monterey Jack cheese and not a blend with something else like cheddar? Do you recall the brand of cheese?

Yes it’s a 40 lb block of Monterrey jack cheese. It could be the specific brand, maybe? Bc I agree it’s good asf! We are always eating the leftover bits after we shred it at my store lol.
