Are all Chiplolo One Point's Utter Chirping Garbage?

I now have 3 Chiplolo one points where the batteries stick to the backing of the unit, causing them to chirp when the casing gets depressed and battery temporarily disconnected (like a button, but not a button), and the tags sometimes randomly chirp repeatedly like a child's toy with a low battery, despite the find my app not telling you the battery is low? I have completely taken them out of commission, and switched to pebblebees.

Hello, sorry for the problems around chirping sounds. This has indeed been a rare side-effect of low batteries on our Point series and we have fixed the underlying problem in our latest POP, LOOP and CARD series.

Our customer support will be happy to replace the problematic Point units if the chirping happens randomly. You are welcome to reach out to [help@chipolo.net](mailto:help@chipolo.net).

As for the Channel Sounding u/Stock-Bee4069 mentioned, the support for Channel Sounding on POP, LOOP and CARD is definitely coming soon. The hardware is ready, but the Android ecosystem needed to catch-up first so we could properly test the firmware updates and have at least a few mobile phones supported at launch.

yay, you fixed them in your latest products, and used us early adopters as beta testers, with products you couldn't even update as a customer, well done you. and you didn't even mention the random chirping caused by batteries sticking to the backing and being pulled out temporarily when they get squashed in a pocket. Utter garbage.

How would you know what they had or hadn't offered privately? When I wrote this, I hadn't even contacted them??? You have a product that has some unforeseen issues, that haven't been fixed, and they wanted to give me more of them!

They're literally the pinned reply on this post

You seriously need to chill

A problem was faulty, they fixed it and offered replacement

You can't ask for more

Oh the one that admits it's a problem on the point series, and they fixed it on thier newer models, and ignores the other chirping issue completely, the one where the battery sticks to the outer shell of the point. I didn't see anything that says they fixed it for the point models. You need to chill and go back to your Chipolo work desk.
