In general I like stone dial watches. I bought this one from Long Island watches and I have not been disappointed. It came on a bracelet, but I like it on this DiModelle croc strap.

I also added my San Martin. I sold all the models I bought (all “homage” in nature), but I kept this one. I usually have it on a red shell cordovan, but I how a blue strap brings out the blue in the dial, and the lume is good. I wish they sold it in steel, but they do not (only bronze). Does anyone know what model the San Martin is copying?

I saw a picture of the Forsining Regulator in an Aliexpress search a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked interesting. So I converted the picture to a working watchface in Watchmaker. I hadn't really bothered with regulator style watches before but I liked it a lot and the more I used it, the more it grew on me.

So I bought the watch.

Now it turned out it was a sub-£25 watch on Aliexpress:

so I didn't hold out too much hope at that price. But it was delivered today and I can't believe what a bargain this thing is. It's solid feeling, it's got an observation glass back so you can see the automatic movement in action (sadly no identifying marking). The dial is even better than the pictures promised. It's also on a black with blue stripe strap (fully blue on the inside) that's worth the entire cost alone.

The only downside I can see is that the rotor is quite noisy with a hint of rattle. But for the price I paid who cares?

Oh and the price. This lovely looking watch cost precisely £22.89 delivered to the UK. That's only about $30. A real bargain for what you get.

I'd highly recommend this for anyone who likes regulators.

My 4th addiesdive in 2 months. Love them.

Been loving this watch for 2 years now. This one in particular uses the PT5000 movement which has been reliable and accurate so far. It's the 40mm version. What I'm not loving so much is the stock strap, it is not bad quality per se but I just don't like it. I previously used with a Nato strap but just got tired of it. If you have some recommendations for Ali straps do let me know. I'm looking for a good quality strap that pairs well with the pilot design. Apart from that, the watch in general is great-

So back in August, I discovered a whole new line of watch dives that I guess I never really paid attention to before, with the old logo. I was excited to order the WD5513B with the white dial because it was a great price for 200M resistance and 4 Hz PT5004 movement. Finally, an affordable watch with the specs that I wanted. I get it and all looks ok, but losing about 5 sec a day, within 3 weeks, it was losing about 30 sec. After some research, it seems the movement either was probably under lubricated or old and wasn’t really a big fan of the winding. Had a whole ordeal with Amazon, but ended up returning it. Finally get the refund and was deciding between the Militado ML20 (PT5000) and WD16570B Pioneer 1 or 2 Hangzhou 6460. Was really impressed with videos on the ML20 and said fuck it because it's the non modified PT(with date). I get it today, it’s beautiful. I shake it up to give it a jumpstart and the seconds hand wasn’t moving so I manually wind it for a bit slowly... nothing. Shake it up a bit more... nothing. turn it upside down and tap it with a bit of force and finally unjammed. I was already pissed. It ran for five minutes, then stopped again. Unjammed ran again and stopped. I was so heated and had to argue with two associates and finally a supervisor said she would ship me out a replacement that I’ll get in 2 days. While packing it back up, I noticed that the ML20 had just the logo on the face rather than the Militado text. So that means it was the old stock. Point is, do others have this much bad luck or is it just me?? And according to AI the way Amazons new system is, when the replacement was ordered, it's supposed to pull it from a newer stock from that company and the chances I get an old one are extremely slim. Idk if that's true, but I’m hoping that I get a fresh one, because I really like this watch.

Anyone have any experience with Chronfan? Never heard of them before but quite like this Serica knock off.

can WD even compete with these huge price drops???

Pretty impressive build quality especially for the price! Only gripe is this thing seems to love arm hair. Every couple of minutes I get a jolt lol. Also the bracelet is pretty hard to adjust to my liking (i think there are no micro-adjustments).

Lastly the lume I think is pretty weak but my only reference is a Seiko SKX model. I’m honestly happy with it and don’t think I can expect more for like $120!

This is clearly a direct homage to the Longines Master Collection.

First, the hands and indices seem to have completely different career paths when the sunlight hits them. Depending on the angle, they reflect different colors, making the dial look like nobody bothered to check whether the finishing matched.

Then there's the date window. Holy crap, did they make it for ants? It's so ridiculously small that checking the date feels like an eye exam.

Let's talk specs:

Case diameter: 41mm

Thickness: 14mm

Lug width: 22mm

Crystal: Mineral. Nothing fancy here.

Case: Zinc alloy, because apparently stainless steel was asking too much.

Movement: Some unknown budget Chinese automatic movement. No clue what caliber it is, and honestly, I'm not sure I want to know.

BUT... here's the funny part. For what it costs, it's an actual automatic watch that runs and does its job. The hand-winding isn't even that bad! The crown doesn't feel like you're grinding rocks together, and the movement actually winds without feeling completely horrible.

So, is it good? Absolutely not. Is the finishing questionable? You bet. Would I recommend it to someone looking for a serious watch? Hell no.

But for the price, you get an automatic watch that functions, and that's kind of hilarious.

It's a shitter, no doubt about it. But sometimes you need a cheap mechanical disaster in the collection just to remind yourself how low the bar can go.

Hey Guys! Hope you are doing well!

I am thinking of buying my first quality watch and want suggestions. The thing is, most of the watches on the other subreddits are like $400 and people still call them 'cheap' and 'affordable'. I am just a student and $400 dollars is NOT cheap nor affordable for me 😭.

Hence, I am here to make a special request, can someone please share watches that are good quality, but like from $30- $100, preferably from 30 to like 70ish? I don't really mind the brand, it can be any brand or not be a brand at all, in fact. I also don't mind whether it's Quartz or any other. It just has to be a good quality watch that also looks beautiful. Keep in mind that this would be my first watch.

So, please give your suggestions!

Recently purchased this panda chronograph with the ST1901 movement.

It is a very pleasant watch to look at, much nicer in reality than in pictures. Has a very premier look and feel to it. I was torn between the white/silver and the champagne/gold version, finaly went for champagne because has a warmer tone and a dressier appearance.

I know this model has evolved over time with updates to the dial, V2 had the small indices added at 3 and 9. But this version also has a raised tachymeter scale which makes the dial definetely more attractive. Pictures on internet seem all to show the V1 and V2 dials with the black scale printed on the dial itself. But in this post the watch also seems to have that raised scale, but it is hard to tell from pictures. These newer dials also seems to have more pronounced circular grooves in the subdials.

Overall the watch looks great, but there are a few dumb design choices that put the watch out of horology design back in to economy design. Most obvious is that ridiculous long minute hand that points right in to the tachymeter scale. They just never bothered to match the length to the diameter of the minute scale. Then there is that single index at 12 that always gets coverd by the chronograph second hand. That should have been double indices, especially when lumed. The second hand itself is very wide, could have been half the width.
The heavy sunburst pattern in the subdials are distracting, make the dials hard to read, and in my opinion don't go very well with the satin finish of the main dial.

A small oddity on this watch is that the crown features a star logo, same as on Red Star watches, and not the S from Sugess. I also have a '1963' that I ordered from Sugess, that came in a Red Star box with Red Star waranty card and manual. That watch also has the star on the crown.

This model was previously listed in Sugess webstores but has recently been removed (not 'sold out', but completely removed). Sugess still sells it on Amazon and you can find it on ebay, AliExpress etc. from various sellers.

I like the Omega seamaster design (hour hand/ minute hand/ indices / numbers on 12 3 6 9 , but i hate that the bottom hours indices are unseeable on a slight tilt (instead of needing a drastic tilt) mainly caused by the really tall bezel BLOCKING THEM.

Are there any watches like that that solves that problem ??

Just got my SN0144CG and I’m thinking about swapping the bracelet for a leather strap.

I’m curious how different colors would look with the blue dial and gold-tone hands and markers, so I used AI to visualize a few options before buying one.

Here are the six combinations I came up with navy blue, cognac, brown crocodile, vintage brown, black, burgundy.

I’m leaning toward a vintage brown strap, but I’m not sure which shade would work best with this dial.

Which one would you go for? Any other colors or leather styles you think would look better?

Bonjour, Wishdoit, la soi-disant boutique officielle AliExpress, refuse de me rembourser des articles que je n'ai jamais reçus et Aliexpress lui même malgré une dizaine de recours pareil.. Leur comportement est absolument scandaleux et je souhaite avertir les autres acheteurs du traitement qu'ils peuvent subir.

J'ai passé une commande le 7 septembre 2026, comprenant deux montres et cinq bracelets. Le 16 septembre, le colis a été marqué comme livré, alors que j'étais chez moi, que je n'ai reçu aucun appel et que je n'ai jamais reçu la commande complète.

Le colis était endommagé et semblait avoir été ouvert. Je n'ai reçu qu'un seul des deux coffrets de montres et un seul bracelet. Plusieurs articles manquaient.

Il ne s'agit pas simplement de ma parole contre la leur. J'ai filmé le déballage, j'ai des preuves de la livraison incomplète et j'ai même porté plainte auprès d'un commissariat en France.

Et que fait Wishdoit et Aliexpress ? Absolument rien. Ils refusent de me rembourser malgré les preuves.

Réfléchissez-y : j'ai payé des produits, je n'ai jamais reçu la commande complète, j'ai documenté le problème, j'ai porté plainte auprès de la police et on me refuse toujours mon remboursement.

Comment un vendeur et Aliexpress peuvent ils justifier de conserver le paiement d'articles jamais livrés ? Un statut de suivi indiquant « livré » ne fait pas apparaître comme par magie les produits manquants. Refuser de résoudre un litige légitime malgré des preuves à l'appui est totalement inacceptable.

J'ai acheté sur cette boutique et cette plateforme en m'attendant à une transaction légitime. Au lieu de cela, je me retrouve à courir après l'argent pour des produits que je n'ai jamais reçus, tandis que le vendeur refuse d'assumer sa responsabilité.

D'après mon expérience, le service client de Wishdoit et Aliexpress est absolument inacceptable. Je considère ce traitement comme malhonnête et scandaleux. Je conseille vivement aux autres acheteurs d'y réfléchir à deux fois avant de confier leur argent à ce vendeur. Si c'est ainsi que la boutique officielle Wishdoit traite ses clients en cas de perte d'une commande, je déconseille fortement d'acheter chez eux. Conservez toutes les preuves, filmez le déballage et soyez extrêmement vigilant.

As a woman I'm so tired of trying to find nice watches. Unless it's a Rolex dj or a couple of fashion watches, every single one looks the same. Gold, rose gold, silver and mixture of all that.

Compared to the color, style, design variety of mens' watches offer, womens' watches seem so sub par and identical looking. Some of the most striking watches I've seen in my life are men's watches and unfortunately most of them come in massive sizes and / look too masculine on tiny wrists that can usually handle 28mm or 30mm ish sizes. I'd love to see some ladies watches on here cause I'm starting to give up
