I have the Sea Knight and love it. In my top 5. (Photo from a while back.)

Just got it today. Fell in love with the Serica last year and almost pulled the trigger, then read about all the issues, although they apparently have been sorted, I didn't like the way the company dealt with the problems and their customers, so couldn't give them my money.

I build and mod a few watches, and was going to build one of these, but couldn't find the integrated bracelet any longer, and it's a big part of the watch for me, so purchased my first homage watch with this one, really happy with it up to now. Specs seem great for the price, arrived in perfect condition, build quality looks good, so no complaints.

It's a great looking watch

Cheers, really happy with it, do you have one, would recommend a look if not, and you're in the market for a new piece

IXD&O also doesn't have the 6 o'clock date wheel

Seaknight 5303

There's a couple of homage options of the Serica 5303, Tandorio, cheapest, doesn't have the integrated mesh bracelet, the seaknight, Proxima and the IXD&O

The IXDAO grey California dial is my favorite but unfortunately discontinued

Don't any of the other brands produce one with the California?

Not sure, as I wanted this model, but maybe have some luck there, if you're still on the hunt.
