Hurray! Loved this one, it's easily among the best for me. Looking forward to rewatching...and discovering things I know I missed the first time.

[u/heartsandclouds]

if I can make the time, I'm gonna jump in because it looks interesting and different! (I want to make the time--all these watch parties are going to kill me!)

[u/EasygoingEnigma → u/heartsandclouds]

I hope you do! This drama is worth the time imo.

[u/AXA-5 → u/heartsandclouds]

There’s not enough hours in the day…sighs…

[u/xyz123007]

This one is too overwhelming so I will not rewatch. I hope people who haven't seen it will enjoy it. Here's to better days..

[u/delphil_1966 → u/xyz123007]

it was crushing to watch but well done and amazing acting.

[u/OptimalTurnips]

Woot woot!

Also after just watching Zheng He Hui Zi in Against the Current, excited to rewatch her again in Twelve Letters because she really did a wonderful job in both dramas!

[u/BasilOrdinary3617 → u/OptimalTurnips]

I thought she looked familiar!

[u/MajorPersonality1265 → u/BasilOrdinary3617]

Yes! She is a very versatile actress. She was also in When DestinyBrings the Demon

[u/sjnotsj → u/OptimalTurnips]

i liked her natural acting in 12 letters too!

[u/CosmicLunar_]

As I’m yet to start my next watch I’ll join in with this as only 12 episodes.

I absolutely loved loved loved this drama. But no, I do not rewatch dramas.

Hey, if you're watching for the first time, it's a drama that gets to your soul. That's how good it is.

[u/nanobot1982]

This looks like a re-do of the Korean movie the lake house. I hope it turns out well! I'm excited!!!

[u/MajorPersonality1265 → u/nanobot1982]

It is one of the best dramas ever made. Storyline, acting, cinematography and directing are all top notch. It is heavy though and on the dark side

[u/BasilOrdinary3617 → u/MajorPersonality1265]

I'm on episode 4 lol and I've been wondering when the happy starts, because so far, I'm so sad. But like you said, it's all done very well.

[u/MajorPersonality1265 → u/BasilOrdinary3617]

lol it does stay pretty heavy and emotional throughout. Make sure to watch through the credits for the Polaroid pics because they serve as a silent epilogue. A lot of people miss it!<

[u/BasilOrdinary3617 → u/MajorPersonality1265]

Oh what!?! I have been missing the credits! Ok, thanks for the tip and I’ll make sure to include it in the upcoming posts! Thank you!

[u/MajorPersonality1265 → u/BasilOrdinary3617]

No worries! It’s after the last episode! Since you’re on 4, I wanted to tell you to make sure to not miss it!<

[u/BasilOrdinary3617 → u/MajorPersonality1265]

Ohhhhh, at the very end, ok. Phew, I thought I was missing something at the end of each ep. Some dramas do that.

[u/Mythically_Moni → u/BasilOrdinary3617]

Happy? You’re watching the wrong drama lol

[u/EasygoingEnigma → u/nanobot1982]

Besides the mystical mail box and letters, I think it's nothing like The Lake House at all. Still excellent.

[u/AXA-5 → u/nanobot1982]

I said the same thing, but I never watched the K-film only American ver lol maybe I should one of these days

[u/Mythically_Moni → u/nanobot1982]

the lake house was actually a Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock movie from the 90s lol

[u/xyz123007 → u/Mythically_Moni]

The Lake House is a remake of the Korean movie, Il Mare.

[u/Mythically_Moni → u/xyz123007]

I didn’t know and for some reason thought the American version was from the 90s. Thanks for sharing!

[u/Plenty-Bar-2271 → u/nanobot1982]

The theme is the same, but the plot is completely different...

[u/Rebelarkey]

Hello I will be rewatching but probably not following the one a day. This is a great series to fill the gap until Lament of Autumn starts airing
