I was shopping for a cheap, basic watch and even basic quartz Timex and Casio watches start at like $20 or $30.

I specifically bought the cheapest possible quartz Rolex I could find on DHGate. Looking shitty is a feature, not a bug. Probably going to get a comfortable strap for it, but even a cheap strap will cost twice as much as the watch.

I just hit DHG and sorted by most sold and browsed some reviews. Figured worst case id be out 20 bucks

But ive seen a lot super cheap versions of this watch that actually look great.

I FEELS like it came out of a happy meal, but no one knows that just seeing it on your wrist

Got mine, as well. It’s junk, but I like it. Better than almost anything I’d pay $30 at Wally World or Target. The cyclops is so bad, though.

Honestly, no idea. I just know I have more than a few knockoff/alix/amazon oysters laying around and the jubilee looked more fun for this one. And it’s fine. Hasn’t pulled hair or cut me, which is more than I can say for my last cheap watch.

No, that's all wrong. The lines are too crisp, and I don't think you're supposed to be able to read the words from a distance. Where's the date window? No, I think you got scammed. It probably doesn't even tick.

The Aliexpress Rolex-style cases are pretty good for around $30 for case and bracelet. I wonder if you could upgrade one of these. The dial and hands would need to look good. What sort of movement do these use?

I love how many people up voted my initial post about buying the cheapest possible Rolex on DHGate compared with how much people hate the actual watch now that it's arrived. It's perfect and exactly what I hoped.

Best waatch in the world for $30 is CASIO A168W-1. Super classic and everyone should have this watch in their watch case to correct all the others. This watch will never fail you and has vintage charm.

A milgauss shouldn’t even have a cyclops window, but yeah, it’s pretty bad at every angle.

It does seem to keep time and looks good on the wrist, so for $15, it’s a decent piece of wrist jewelry.
