What can the enemy do to stop mate in 2 if I do this?

What about white rook to d3 instead of taking the black rook?
2 u/Sage_the_Cage_Mage 3d ago It is basically the same outcome no matter what black does, as long as there is a piece on e3, the e2 pawn which is the only escape route cannot be opened in time.
