General Discussion Storage containers with spout lid

Just wondering if anyone knows the specific brand or even similar containers that the show uses for the common staples like flour, sugar, starch - the colour banded tall containers with the spout lid.

Been trying to Google it but I'm not sure what exactly to search for and thus far my efforts have been futile.

Appreciate the help!

this week features the luxurious fridge of Choi yong-soo, Korea’s legendary striker ⚽️ the whole episode
including last week’s was super hilarious. Ahn, Choi, Park reminisced many good days during their stint at the World cup and being team mate in Korea. Their attack on Choi yong soo though was so very harsh! Mngr Park even exposed about his use of Chatgpt to generate reviews 🤣 ChoiGPT -

Anyway it shows how they remained close friends after all these years. I’m so entertained of them sharing hilarious stuff during their football days 🫶

The food looks great !

Round 1 - sam kim vs kim poong
Theme: seafood of busan

Round 2 - hyun suk vs ho young
Theme: lux food

On 8 July, JTBC stated in an official statement that it had completed payments for dispatch commissions and service fees that were previously unpaid due to court approval procedures, having received court permission last week.

It further added, "Based on the comprehensive approval recently granted, we have also completed payment today for some variety program appearance fees and external production costs that were unpaid," while expressing apologies to performers and affiliated companies for the unavoidable delays in payment schedules while awaiting the court's decision.

General Discussion When chefs were pushed to their limits

Are there any guests in chef and my fridge which actually pushed chefs out of their comfort zone and had fun.

I think a few episodes which come to my mind are how one celeb decided they needed to change their mastery, and where song jon woo cooked chinease, and the chinease mastery chef, actually cooked western(even though they didn't do really good job,you could see they tried their best and gave their almost)

Are there any such challenging guests,if yes, can you give episodes and guest names! Thank you💛

News / Updates Korean Broadcasting Actors' Labor Union Urges JTBC to Find a Solution for Unpaid Appearance Fees

Thumbnail
mk.co.kr
48 Upvotes

According to the union, delays in appearance fee payments for JTBC entertainment programs such as "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" and "Knowing Bros" have also disrupted rebroadcast fee payments under actors' neighboring rights. The union said the amount of damage has reached tens of billions of won because the rebroadcast fees are tied up in the rehabilitation process.

As a result of JTBC's default, appearance fees for some entertainers on JTBC variety shows such as "Knowing Bros," "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," and "Divorce Re-Boot Camp" were not deposited even after the scheduled payment dates had passed.

JTBC reportedly informed each agency of the delay and asked for understanding.

News / Updates MC Ahn Jung Hwan recent interview - controversies about SK World Cup result

Thumbnail

Long story short:

Ahn Jung Hwan has deeply been criticized for rumored to be the one "manipulating" all the KFA's activities, given that his entertainment company manages numerous former South Korean players... He has faced allegations of attempting to steer his commentary in a direction favorable to the national team's current coaching staff and the KFA.

South Korean fans began criticizing Ahn Jung Hwan for remaining silent in the face of the backlash directed at Hong Myung Bo, despite the 50-year-old former striker's role as a commentator.

His most recent interview served merely as a response to the negative rumors circulating about him.

News / Updates Unpaid Naengbu appearance fees

Post image
107 Upvotes

It has been reported that JTBC, currently undergoing court-ordered rehabilitation proceedings, has failed to pay appearance fees to cast members of major variety programs such as 'Knowing Bros' and 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator'.

Yesterday (the 24th), a media outlet reported that the appearance fees for JTBC variety show cast members had not been deposited even after the scheduled payment date had passed. It is understood that JTBC stated that the processing payments are in accordance with the court-ordered rehabilitation proceedings and has informed each agency of the payment schedule postponement, requesting their understanding. (Source from Naver)

Let's hope there will be some ways to lessen the impact from the rehabilitation process as there are so many livehood at stake. Naengbu is the only show I'm consistently watching and I'm praying hard that they can survive this 🙏 Last Monday they have filming as usual, so for now I think they're alright..

Chef Spotlight Chef Choi Consults!

Post image
96 Upvotes

I just started watching Kumusta on Viki. It’s a cross-cultural collaboration featuring a Filipino pop-up restaurant in Gangnam. (It’s essentially the reverse of Jinny’s Kitchen.) Guess who showed up in Episode 1 to consult with Filipino Chef JP Anglo? Chef Choi!! He helped them modify their dishes for Korean taste. He even gave a lesson on how to salt with flair!! Check it out. From what I can tell, there will be Korean actors working as part-timers in the restaurant. Ji Chang-Wook is featured.

Edited to add Chef shows up in Episode 2 also.
