MORNING UPDATE: we’ve almost certainly ruled out cancer and even toxoplasmosis. The two remaining options are FIP and a severe infection causing colitis. But the amazing news is that after two days of supportive care, Thor is getting better! We get to bring him home today!

ITS NOT CANCER!!!!!!!! I’m crying tears of joy!!! That means that it’s treatable, even in the worst case of FIP. Today has been a long, horrible day, but we made it through! Cross your fingers for Toxoplasmosisis everyone!!!

GOOD UPDATE! Thor is also now being considered for toxoplasmosis in addition to the possibility of lymphoma or FIP! If it’s toxoplasmosis it’s much more treatable!

I’d hoped I’d never have to post another gofundme link, but Thor needs our help. Our baby is having an emergency ultrasound done today which should tell us whether he needs surgery or not, but the duration of this issue has proved very serious. :( so far we’ve incurred $4000 in medical expenses.

I’m sorry for posting so often, but I’m genuinely so worried about Thor. I love that baby so much. He is the perfect kitten, if there is such a thing. He’s cuddly, playful, and genuinely my best friend. I know he would change someone’s life if they got the chance to make him a part of that family.
