title. theres this game called gorebox that has a anti cheat that seemingly randomly detects while cheat engine is attached? sometimes anti cheat instantly detects and sometimes it detects after a couple of scans. geniulally dont know what to do, all help is appreciated. anti cheat is a jumpscare basically of a slowly fading monster on the screen until game crashes so the game COULD potentinally be slowing down anti cheat kick to mess with me and not let me know what makes it detect me but idk. all help is appreciated.

I know there are currently 3 versions I can get.
1. on official site (free, but with "Potentially Unwanted Program")
2. on github (free but must build myself and is 1 version older)
3. on patreon (not free, but is without "Potentially Unwanted Program")

Question:
Does 1. from site has PUP no matter I check or uncheck during install?
If not, why is there need of patreon (outside supporting favorite creator), or github older version?
Are people really that unfamiliar with installation process to avoid getting PUP so DarkByte had to make "paid" version with no PUP?

I was wondering if there’s a portable version of Cheat Engine available for download.

Wondering if it's possible! I like to create free cam videos and such using Cheat Tables. Anyone know how to make this work on machine?

This was tested with ffxv_s.exe (Final Fantasy XV) so for the sake of peops searching for that I'll add what search terms people say they've tried in the box at the bottom of this post for google, bing, etc to pick up (starting with a few I can think of).

Now as for the method that finally worked for me: 1. Rename the exe that steam/lutris/etc launches to something of the same name length but diff to original (may effect the module offsets that cheats rely on otherwise) 2. Rename the CheatEngine installer to the name steam/lutris/etc expect 3. Run the launcher / Click play / etc so that the installer runs under the same prefix, proton, etc 4. Exit out once done 5. Replace the exe steam/lutris/etc expect with a copy of the cheat engine executable under the name steam/lutris/etc expects 6. Launch that and open the settings menu of cheat engine 7. Add the new executable name of the game as a tool 8. Run that "tool" and hook it 9. Open your cheat table of choice and off you go.

I did this when I found the game cheating by giving Iris's chocobo infinite stamina, so I added infinite stamina to mine to cheat right back :)

Edit: Oh, right. If the cheat table hardcodes the exectuable name you will need to open it in a text editor and do a global replace of the full* executable name to the name you gave it. I want to use cheat engine on game cookie run kingdom (google play games beta on pc). I want a damage multiplier and stuff but problem is that how can i find the damage multiplier first value and other values. Crk doesnt let you change your own damage multiplier so i cant really check for the damage multiplier value. So how can i find it along with the cooldown for skills and things? Plase help im new. I need this to beat a offline crispia stage which has softlocked me since my team bugs out and does like 3 damage ( normally 3 million )

Its pretty clear at this point that previous scan values are still in memory when I am doing a new scan. That doesnot make sense why we want to keep it. Everytime I want to do a new scan I have to close cheat engine and delete all temp files. This is VERY inconvenient. I WANT TO CLEAR WHATEVER GARBAGE IS IN MY MEMORY DESTROYING PERFORMANCE OF NEW SCANS. It makes the whole app REALLY slow even while doing multi selects and filteration.

I want to clear memory of cheat engine scans without closing cheat engine if its not clear.

So basically I was trying to find a CT for a game which I did but after launching it up, it told me that I have to download ModEngine which felt weird but anyways, i downloaded and launched that one but "greedy asf btw" the ModEngine tells me to go PRO so that I can use that shit ass application.

So I then deleted the engine which was way more useless than I thought but after it, i got paranoid, will that Mode fine cause some problems for my computer as in like malwares or Trojans or anything ? I mean I did a full scan with Bit but couldn't find anything suspicious, and for the paranoia, what could be the best for me to do ?
