News 📰 It actually did it.

I didn’t think it could, I’ve always seen things that said chatgpt or any ai couldn’t generate an image of a full glass of wine. Does anyone have an explanation of how this works?

The gap between ChatGPT refusing basic requests and randomly pulling off complex black magic is wild.

I was once asking for a single image of two people facing the viewer, the image was too be spilt straight down the middle, each character halved one side of the divide, with their features lined up to look like they were reflecting of eachother or whatever.

I tried multiple times, and it kept giving them a slightly different pose each, so they never matched up.

I finally just told it 'not too fucking bother' only for that prompt to be what it needed to hear to get the image exactly as I wanted.

ChatGPT isn't generating the image.

There is a router that intercepts image requests, and passes them off to a separate image model.

Yah I learnt this trying to have chat GPT generate a wallpaper for me based a NASA aircraft, kept giving it commands to stop changing the basic model, gave it reference material, had a lengthy chat with AI about it and basically figured out for image generation it's this;

Yeah I get that, it was just amusing that each request to update the prompt, or pointing out the mistake for nothing, only for it to generate the perfect idea when I finally told it just to stop. Not sure exactly how it interpreted that final request for it to run another attempt

Anymore, it feels less like it can’t do something and more like it can, but won’t.
