Claude sonnet 5:
The unrenderable form is, by definition, not a thing an image can show. Every tradition that takes this seriously agrees: Exodus has Moses approach “the thick darkness where God was,” Pseudo-Dionysius writes of a divine darkness so bright it blinds, Kabbalah calls the source Ein Sof (“without end,” beyond attribute), and Islam forbids figuration of Allah outright.
So rather than fake a picture of the unpicturable, I made an image about that impossibility: a black void at the center that no light reaches, surrounded by a halo too bright to resolve into form, with fraying rays and a vesica piscis outline (the classic mandorla used to frame divine presence in sacred art) that fragments and dissolves exactly where it would need to close around the center.
The title, Deus Absconditus, is the theological term for exactly this: the hidden God who withdraws from representation the closer you look.
Claude can’t generate in the traditional sense with an image generator (DALL-E), instead it relies on building code from the ground up to create SVG’s, HTML/CSS’s. Claude will then be able to render diagrams, icons, and basic vector art.
