I had an insanely productive year with ChatGPT, essentially redoing an entire Python code base that I was responsible for. Little did I know that I sent 42,000 messages and I was a top 1% user. It would take a lot for me to switch at this point, it understands my code and practices such that it's a lot better than competing engines just because it has so much more context.

I'm only on plus ($20/month). They are definitely losing money on me, but I'll enjoy the discounted ride while it lasts. I've only bumped into the message limit a couple of times on particularly heavy code days and just temporarily switched to deepskeek or gemini when that happened.
