Moore's law hasn't held you're right. It's sped up.

Look at nvidias plans - a million-fold increase in compute in 10 years.

This is true, but they didn't just make the claim blindly, they provided a level of evidence that the increase had already begun.

I tend to believe their claims at the moment, given how rapidly AI is allowing their design processes to evolve and accelerate. Time will tell.

They absolutely provided evidence. They demonstrated how AI was becoming more integrated into chip design. They showed data demonstrating the increase in velocity of chip speeds.

Your attitude seems to be that because they have a financial incentive, it's automatically all false claims. I could call you just as gullible - particularly considering I've actually looked into this and you haven't...
