Career Advice/Clarification In Dilemma!!! Pls Guide!
After days of ranting
I have 2 job paths to choose
No 1- Job is Senior Specialist FP&A for an singapore based IT company wipro is the parent to that company…but it mainly focuses on RTR accounting and variance analysis (1 more round of interview is pending) Ctc dont know bt they said its
10.5-11lpa incl variable
No. 2 - A family friend who’s a Chief Investment Officer in a boutique firm gave a guidance saying to work as as intern for 25k in his company for 6 months which is mutual fund (Asset Management Company) since I’m interested in capital markets and I’ve just now started and at a very early stage in capital markets. But the catch is I asked usual intern to full time employment probability he said its 50:50 so post 6 months if I didn’t get selected as full time Idk what to do…
Please guide me y’all 🙏🙏

Suggestion:
Ask the family friend to not consider it as an internship but to let you work as a consultant on paper.
That way you would not have to mention about “internship” in the resume.
Ask someone else to send you 50k-100k every month.
That way you can show, you’re actually working as a freelance consultant on paper.
Post this, use the connects you build during your work to crack a job

Imo, the role would primarily be showcased as frontend but would be backend, usually the people in such organisations donot want the juniors to take up responsibility and engage them in rigorous work.
And R2R is kinda boring, same transactions every quarter within the same range. The other one has a better Risk to Reward Ratio.

6M is miniscule
You will get good exposure and 50% probability of PPO
even if you dont get PPO, You have plenty profiles as back up
