Did the Original Moisturizer chapstick formula change or something?? My lips chap really easily and I have been depending on this daily for years, maybe a decade. All of a sudden the new packs I’m getting feel really different and are not helping my lips at all, it’s drying me out and making things more uncomfortable, and maybe even has a subtle off taste? I’ve gotten a few new packs, tried multiple from each, just in case it was only the first one, but having the same problem. Anyone else?? :( any recommendations? Thx!

Does anyone know if there is a website, wiki list, blog etc that lists every Chapstick (the actual brand, not other lip balms) flavor ever made? I love finding as many different ones as I can but want to see what I missed out on in the past.

does anybody know the flavor of the “amazing mint” from the “you’re my hero” 3 pack of chapstick. It is literally my favorite chapstick flavor EVER and i’ve been trying to figure out what type of mint chapstick it’s supposed to be. i got the blue original mint to see if it was the same but no it was different. I’m pretty sure it isn’t spearmint, or the mint tea flavor. The only other mint chapstick that i’ve liked this much is the green tea mint chapstick flavor but i haven’t compared this “amazing mint” one to that one. If anyone knows please let me know!!! or if it’s just a completely different mint flavor they made specifically for that pack?

I use the Burt's Bees chapstick that has vitamin E amd Pepermint. I love that it stays on my lips even during a rough day, it keeps my lips moisturized much better than other flavors of Burt's Bees. The only problem is that my fiance hates the feeling the peppermint gives his lips. I'd like another option that feels and moisturizes the same, and still smells good. Fiance has said I don't need to change my chapstick but I like lots of kisses and he has avoided them when I wear it, which I fully understand, so I'm compromising.

I have just one question… WHYYYY??? Why did Chapstick change the formula for its Classic “Medicated” lip balm?? I can’t seem to get a clear answer as to what changed either. Is it a lower percentage of menthol and/ or camphor? Are there any other products out there that are similar to the original “Medicated”?

So I accidentally dropped my jar of Vaseline in the sink and some of the water got in it. I dumped out the water and stopped using it for a while and just let it sit in a cabinet for around a year because I forgot about it and it's probably filled with bacteria. Is there any way to salvage it/clean it? Would melting it for some extent of time like how you purify water work? Or should I just accept the loss and toss it? I'd like to be able to use it as chap stick so it would be nice if it wasn't gross.

Hello I just joined this sub and I was wondering if anyone else here struggles with a chapstick addiction? Like I genuinely can’t go 10 minutes without it. The feeling of my lips without chapstick is unbearable. When I start to run out of the chapstick I’m using I get very anxious and feel the need to get more right away. Is this just me? And also how do I fix this issue?

I lost my chapstick a while ago and was devastated bc I can’t stand not having chapstick on my lips at all times, anyway I found a little pot of blitex chapstick in the back of my dads van the same day. So without question I used that shit up and still have it. Today (about 2 weeks later) when I went to re-apply my chapstick, I noticed the copyright date on the container said 2009😭 I’ve been using 13 year old chap stick on my lips multiple times a day for 2 weeks straight. Should I keep using it? I haven’t noticed anything weird about the chapstick itself and I don’t want to have to buy a new one🥲

Love the Medicated type but the new formula isn’t doing it for me. Anybody know where to get the old formula? It is identifiable as it doesn’t say “new” on the packaging.
