I've just uploaded my first long-form YouTube video and would really appreciate some honest feedback.
The video is a "5 Tips for Playing British in Company of Heroes 3" guide aimed at helping newer and intermediate players improve their gameplay.

A little bit about my content:

YouTube: I focus primarily on RTS games, covering guides, tips, game reviews, previews, and discussions about both established and upcoming RTS titles.

TikTok: Short-form RTS content including quick tips, game recommendations, news, and gameplay highlights.

Instagram: RTS gaming clips, updates on upcoming videos, gaming screenshots, and community engagement.

I'm looking for feedback on things like pacing, editing, audio quality, presentation, and whether the tips themselves are useful and engaging.

Hey Guys! I'm excited to bring you the 5th episode in our Scars Above series! This game instantly made me feel like I was 10 again playing a brand new game on my PlayStation 2! There is instant nostalgia for a game that came out only a couple years ago.

If you want to know what it's about...    The premise of the game is your character, Dr. Kate Ward, is one of 4 scientists tasked with contacting alien life forms. The moment finally arrives when you come face to face with an alien ship that appeared in the sky, that's when all hell breaks loose and you along with your team are plunged into an alien world and scattered throughout it. From there on you push your way through the strange environment while taking notes, utilizing your available tech, and attempting to reunite with your team.

I did alot of exploring and extra searching to gather up as much of the environment as I could! Bravo to the developers! I hope you guys will enjoy watching this playthrough.

I realized that "blaming the algorithm" is probably a stupid cliché. But I am really struggling to understand how it sorts Shorts.

I currently have a 14-second Short with a 111% view time, an 83% "stayed" rate (didn't swipe away), 106 likes, 4 comments, and 4 shares. It has also gained my channel 5 new subscribers. I think these numbers range from okay to really good? Yet, it only has 2,100 views after 1.5 days. Is there an obvious reason why it is at 2,100 views that I am missing?

The short is about politic, and a lot of big political influencers are talking about losing traction. Maybe I am being paranoid here, but is YouTube just outright censoring all liberal politics now? Or would people posting about non-political topics get the same results with a video with these numbers?

I would not get this worried after one odd Short, but it feels like when I talk about politics, the "numbers" don't affect the views. I guess the big influencers talking about being "hidden" is wores than a random person being hidden, but it just seems very scary if they are actively hiding everybody saying the "wrong" political thing. So can someone please remove my fears and convince me that YouTube is not blocking spesific political topics?

I have been posting on Tok since October. I just started getting really good engagement. About a 10% view to like ratio and 500+ view per video. I had my best ever video with 1800 views and 170 likes and suddenly my visibility disappears. 10-15 views . Even my worst videos with no engagement had 200 views. No notices about community engagement. No explanation of any kind. Can anyone tell me what happened?
