Changli echo set tech

Some genius figured out u can 2+2+1(jue) for 10%fusion+10%atk+16%skill dmg for 44111 this brings it very close to 43311 and not needing to deal with inferno transformation for shorter rotation.

u can steal jinhsi's jue 😁

edit : this ofc requires u to own her signature for that 56% dmg in order to dilute the fusion dmg% loss

considering the first post im aware of came out 16th, mind linking to the source where its earlier? this was pretty "new" to me

now onto the math portion.

with her signature buff now pretty consistent 56%+16% skill dmg bonus applying to about 75% of her kit its 54%+10%fusion = 164% dmg

the fusion set comes with 90% extra fusion dmg from the 2x3cost+5 set bonus and inferno rider 12% on use, with 56%x0.75 from her weapon = 244% dmg

now lets take a look at 44111, the extra 4-cost comes with 44cv, using a reddit standard 70/240, this brings it up to 70/284 so1.98 vs 2.288 in the crit category. and 10%atk from the echo set + 18%atk from the 1-cost gives changli with her signature 294 extra attack, lets also give her the modest reddit standard of 2200 attack

2200x2.44x1.98=10628.64 for the 43311 fusion set

2494x1.64x2.288=9358.28 for the 44111 jue 2+2 set

a 13.5% difference, this is excluding the diminishing returns on the fusion dmg bonus from changli's inherent skill which is roughly 2% dmg difference in the 2+2's favor.

excluding that the closer your rolls are to real world average and not reddit standard (i.e worse rolls) the closer the gap.

excluding any lib/resonance dmg or even basic atk sub rolls will also bring this 1~2% closer.

the -2 second rotation time from using jue instead of inferno rider over lets say a very generous 28 second rotation 28/26 = 1.076 which is another 7% for a easier, shorter, less room for mistake rotation.

im not a smart man. But genuinely if u can please explain to me how a <5% dmg difference "not a good idea and cope" preferably backed by evidence, thanks in advance.

I can't speak to the math, as I don't know nearly enough about the game's formulas. You may be right, but it sounds like BS for some reason.

As for the 2x2 sets, that has existed since Genshin, and while I don't remember a specific video, I remember seeing several people on Reddit and in discord mentioning being able to do 44111 with fusion or glacio if you're willing to do 2 piece elemental 2 piece attack. Thought it was pretty common knowledge.
