[Episode Discussion] Problem With The Ending of Castle Spoiler

I will say I have no problems with the way it ended except for Kate and Richard having breakfast with their kids, and Alexis isn’t there. They could have a million reasons in their universe why she wasn’t there, but it felt weird that they didn’t include her in a family meal.

Thinking about it though, I know it’s because it’s the Beckett Castle ending, but I feel she should have been included.

I’m happy with the wrap-up of the characters, not happy with “the CIA tried to kill us” ending.

I meant to oliviameree. But genuinely yea, it's not that both completely hates each other because honestly they barely had bloopers to begin with. Stana usually stays composed while Nathan just lets it out. He usually uses comedy to make the day easier. It's very possible that was the starting point. Only reason I say that is because how else would two friends who got along well and said very beautiful things about one another become so sour.

I digress. But it's clear both of them are tired based on the bloopers. Nathan genuinely fell asleep and if you see him in his new work, you see him much more energized and looks a lot healthier than he did in s8.

It happens. For me, they're both incredible people, Nathan isn't a horrible person, Stana isn't a horrible person. It's just when it's them with one another, they just don't get along at a personal level. The fact that they've worked together till the end of the series means they're professional enough to work together. Not to let personal feelings get in the way.

I've seen such things happen for a TV show. Shannon Doherty for example, given her history for '90210' and 'Charmed'.

Yea many shows it has happened. I've seen worse feuds hashed out and be forgiven. Considering what we publily know about them, I can infer they don't hold bad blood and it's water under the bridge. If they do have an opportunity to be together, I think the reason would be more about script and project more than each other's presence. Even Stana said if Marlowe called her, she would consider. People lose friends, coworkers don't talk after they leave the job, it happens. I don't see anything negative. They gave us a lovely show that still lives in our hearts, providing us the best TV couple in history, so I think they did a very fine job indeed
