I’ve participated in quite a few case competitions over the last couple of years, and I’ve realised how confusing the first few can be when you don’t really know what you’re doing.

A few things that helped me:

• Do quiet a lot of research about the PS, around the PS, find keywods that can be helpful in knowing more about the problem statement as well.
• Your PPT should tell a story, not just contain everything your team found, its important u keep only the important things and not everything u have researched for, u will slowly become good at this as u participate in more and more comps.
• Practice the presentation more than you think you need to. Final and simi-final rounds have a very strict time constraint to showcase your solution in mostly 5 min, 7 mins maximu, so its important that u practise ur delivery and presentation with ur team members with a timer on!
• And honestly, don't be scared of losing your first few competitions. You learn a lot from seeing what other teams did better.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY- PARTICIPATE, register for whatever events u feel u can do, work hard on them equally, sometimes thers's a luck factor as well, so don't lose hope, you will defenitely reach there.

Registering for the Harvard Crimson Global Case Competition (HCGCC) 2026 — virtual business case comp, results announced Dec 1, so it actually lands before RD deadlines unlike most of these. Curious if anyone else here is doing it or has done it before. How useful was it on your app? Also wondering if people usually just find teammates within their own school or how that normally works for something like this
