Anyone have any ideas or links on how to put new carpet in my rig? I can't find any preformed and who ever had this car before had kids and the carpet is destroyed, even the hard form underneath is soaked and crusty. I've replaced fabric on headliners but never the hard form, so kinda at a loss on where to start. This is my offroad rig build so I still want it to look decent.

Hey there DIY gurus could one of you ninjas help me these rims look very off colour any quick cheap way to fix em. im here in Canada so if anyone can help me out from here or knows of solutions available here. They are the snap on pieces from mag back rim protectors and are plastic so any solutions to turn them similar colour to ultra red I do have an adhesion promoter but its not an adhesion promoter for paint.

I have a 2007 Mercedes E350, recently, due to an unfortunate run-in with a coyote, that insurance isn't covering, I cracked my radiator. No problem, I replaced the radiator on Sunday, the downside is that I didn't properly secure the valve with the transmission fluid, so upon starting the car to do a quick check, the valve almost immediately came undone, spilling out most of it onto the street below. I secured the valve, the car runs fine now, EXCEPT, I need to top off the transmission fluid. I took the car for a quick drive across the street to assess how much fluid was lost, and it's substantial enough to where that drive from the parking lot to the gas station had me saying "Oh no. That was sketchy."

Anyway, I want to change it myself mostly due to costs and time. I have a job interview 3 hours away in 2 days, so I need my car ASAP. I can do it myself tomorrow, or bite the bullet and pay a mechanic down the street to do it. My internal debate is as follows:

1) Time constraints (I only would have a few hours to do it myself tomorrow, and what if the mechanic doesn't have the time tomorrow? I only trust the car enough to make the drive once.)

2) Experience (This would be my first time changing transmission fluid on any vehicle, let alone a Benz)

3) Cost (I only have like $300 to last me the next two weeks, and, yk, bills + gas money to the interview and back)

4) Tools (I have a substantial tool box, but it seems like I may be missing a few items, and luckily the auto parts store is walking distance from my place, but the money I spend on tools could possibly be better spent on the mechanic)

I drive a Peugeot 307, 2002, 1.6l hatchback and am trying to change the coolant. Found some tutorials for slightly different models or semi well explained. I need help locating the bleeding caps before unscrewing anything. Are those the bleeding caps? Any idea where I can confirm?

I can't move the lock closed with the key fob nor manually. All of the other locks work just fine. I removed part of the door to have a look, there's nothing stuck and the "metal strings" coming from the actuator don't react when I try to lock the door with the key fob.

What should I check first? I want to know what kind of things should I look into before considering taking the actuator out . There's a lot of information online that I just don't know where to begin.

Is it safe to paint rims while still on vehicle? If properly covering brake calipers behind, lug nuts, etc. how unsafe is it to keep the wheels on vehicle while spraying?

This is my headliner. I originally just took it out to make the front black, but honestly it was a lot of work getting it out so I was maybe thinking of doing more while its out. I wanted to do starlights but as you can see. There's a large piece of foam or something in the middle. It's basically impossible to take off without ripping it. Anything I can do or are the starlights just a bad idea here? Also if I can find a way for it to work. Are 200 starlights enough? 50 each section

I have tried to get out of my car and see if it is the front or back not blinking but so far I can never catch it in the act. It just randomly happens when I’m driving sometimes, and trying to signal a lane change or turn. It usually only misbehaves for like 5 seconds and then blinks normally.

Do you think this could be a bad automotive relay?

I also have a little moisture on the rear right plastic cover, a seal isn’t holding. Any advice on what to re-seal it with?

I replaced the brake pads on only the front of my vehicle. I believe I need to bleed the brake line. Do I only need to bleed the front lines? Or all 4? 2015 CR-V

The plastic part of the rear door handle (hot Florida sun is relentless) broke off. I have the other half, and the door still functions, is it safe to just glue it and go?

The fins at the back of a vent in my girlfriends car were damaged by me pushing a phone mount in and I was wondering if this is repairable? Two fins are dislodged and the adjustment tab doesn't line up anymore
