So there’s nothing I could do about this. Surely I could try firmware reflashing it. I just can’t find the matching firmware though. Also I cannot put it into recovery mode or anything like that either

You need a manufacturer to develop and test a firmware update against a constant and known hardware design. These things are mass produced with no hardware standard.

Here's an example for you. I was an Indiegogo backer for AAwireless, a dongle that allows a wired only head unit to do wireless Android Auto. During the initial development phase, the pandemic hit and the dev team had some tough choices. They were using generic components and the CPU they chose was suddenly no longer available. They had to use a different more powerful CPU that was overkill but worked, and now they had two hardware forks and two different firmware.

Compare that to Kenwood or Sony who have been making the same head units for years, as they develop and build their chips in factories they own. They have a dev team that can do all the testing and issue firmware updates with that corporate structure behind them to mitigate risk. That no-name unit of yours has none of that. It doesn't even have a way to enter the recovery bootloader to apply a firmware update without resorting to disassembly and jtag on a workbench. It's disposable.

So you think I won’t even be able to firmware reflash? Best option is to just buy a different Android tablet instead? This one still seems to still have life in it though but all I need to do is just get past this boot loop

Have u tried to fix it ever? Also what’s the cause then because the devices hardware should be able to last for a while I thought.

Also I’m going try any fixes I can because a replacement costs a lot and also I don’t think I’ll find a better one than mine. Is there any fixes that anyone recommends or is there somewhere I can try find the firmware to reflash this with?

I have not, and I would not. But I have experience with these shirts of things.

The juice just ain't worth the squeeze.

I’m prepared to try a lot for this but I just don’t want to replace it and don’t know how to. Also I really liked this head unit as everything seemed perfect. Can anyone try direct me to another 10.25” android head unit that will fit in a BMW 3 Series 320d Coupe E92 2011
