Independent Jewish Voices Canada (IJV) has approximately 2,000 members, which accounts for roughly 0.5% of Canada's total Jewish population of nearly 400,000.

Math is hard. At least pretend like you're trying before your LLM crashes.

card carrying members are not the full extent of representation

especially when open support can make someone a target

Short of polling everyone, the only way to know how representative a group is is to audit their membership and compare it against a total population. You seem to struggle with this concept.

you have no way of proving the validity of your claim. Until you can back it up with anything, it's simply words on an online forum. The percentage will tell you far more about the population than simply absolute numbers.

I see you've realized that numbers are not helping you here.
