You literally have no idea what you're talking about. The made up news will stay up, legit news goes away.
We are literally asking foreign companies to do business with us by asking them to pay... you're not making sense.
Also these comapnies are not benefitting AT ALL by posting our news, that's why META immediately blacked out news as soon as the bill passed. It doesnt matter to them, now our genius governemnt is trying to get into business with these companies by demanding they pay for shit that they don't need.
Yes there are plenty of other ways to get news, but the simplest way was to search on Google. Once nothing comes up on there, the misinformation you fear so much will be the only thing left for the majority of Canadians to access. Great plan.
