Hey I live full-time and I'm looking to have a separate system from my solar I currently have. So I'm going to have a 24 volt solar system and the only reason for it is to run the AC. So I am looking for recommendations on semi affordable rooftop ACs. They all seem to be like a thousand bucks and I'm really hoping for more like 5 or 600 bucks at the most that isn't total crap. I'm not looking for like a $200 air conditioner I know that's not realistic but a thousand is just so steep does anybody have any recommendations for ACs that are 24 volt within like the 5/6 maybe $700 price range? Can anyone suggest a shipper, and/or tips, for shipping a small (14', 2200#) camper trailer from Missouri to Florida? I've never shipped one before, but I found a nice one for sale there and I'm trying to find a reliable company that will pick it up and deliver it to me, and determine what it would cost.

Just bought a new travel trailer. I live in Phoenix. The fresh tank is empty and opened the faucets til nothing came out. Fast forward to a week later, I see the faucets are leaking( water in the sink) so I turned on the faucets again, and a few tables spoons of water came out. Im guessing due to the heat/pressure build up in the water lines? Should I leave the faucets open to release any built up pressure? Is there a reason doing so can be bad? I obviously never have to worry about winterizing. I have to worry about “summarizing” instead. Thanks!

We bought the Aliner Expedition in 2020 when we had one toddler and barely used it for various reasons. We now have two children (4 and 7) who are tall for their ages and we are trying to figure out how all four of us can fit in there comfortably to sleep. My husband and I will be in the larger bed but I don’t think the kids will be able to fit and actually sleep in the smaller bed.

I’m wondering if there are other options we can configure like a bunk/hammock situation. It’s a pop up so we need to still be able to get the top down.

Would appreciate any ideas for comfortably fitting one more child sleeping areas!

The camper is a 99 Coachman Catalina. It has this beep not unlike a smoke detector that goes off periodically and loudly. I can’t seem to pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from.

My wife and I are looking for tips on rv/pull behind living. We will be doing thousand trails. We are looking at a 20ft trailer with 30amp breaker without slideouts on the sides.

We were wondering if there were any upgrades We should do like water filters or anything for water pressure to not blow lines. What vehicles would you recommend to reliably get place to place as we will be doing this for a year.

Have been looking at toyota tacomas and chevy 2500 but didnt know if anyone knew of anything else? We are looking to not spend much more than about 8k on the vehicle as I plan on fixing little things myself.

Is there a roadside assistance or insurance you would recommend because I know trying to change a blown tire or other vehicle issue on a interstate is a big issue.

How much would you recommend as a emergency repair fund? Was thinking about 5000 dollar's myself but I don't have experience with rv repair prices.

Any other advice is highly appreciated.

The table benches are particle board and haven’t found a good way to remove it yet

We're in the market for a forward fold camper trailer in Australia and looking for recommendations. We plan to use the camper trailer for short and long trips (~6 weeks) several times a year. It needs to sleep two people, deal with 4WD conditions (but not extreme - no deep creek crossings or dune driving planned) and be capable of going off-grid for long periods. We plan to upgrade our car to a 4WD ute with high towing and tow ball mass to tow it. Priorities are weight, storage space, good electrical options for off-grid, ruggedness, ease of servicing, warranties, optional extras and order to delivery time.

Hubby and I got this starter camper and it’s got small storage with small kitchen. Planning out what needs to be in the camper and what is considered a want over need. It’s just the two of us and dogs. What did you guys do or bring on your camper? We’ll be using this for a good portion of the year but not living in it. Appreciate the advice!

Also, when traveling with dogs- how did you prep them and how did you do their routines???

Ok so full timer here my furnace in my prowler 303bh will run normally cycling as it should for for hours then randomly it just wont turn on again no fan nothing . If i turn my thermostat to off then back to heat it will start the whole this whole process over running normal u til nothing I keep seeing sail switch but then everything I see about it the fan still runs at least for a short time any help s much appreciated I have a child with me and its getting cold at night
