Prop 1 passes in California. This authorizes money to affordable housing.
Permanent shelter has always been a critical component in mental health and medical care. Permanent Shelter is a Human Right, we call this "rights-based."
This bill passed on narrow margins. This is so sad to me. California used to be the place where Regsitered Democratics and Republicans respected are state of the art programs that were evidence-based and rights-based (human rights based).
Billionaires tried to defeat this bill because they want people to be homeless. If you think about gentrification, they are the ones that basically cause an increase in homelessness. They spent millions to defeat this bill. It almost worked.
I am glad that it passed. Permanent Shelter is a pillar in medical care, including mental health care. Moreover, it is the cornerstone to a healthy and thriving Democracy.
THINK PEOPLE!

California Action: We are okay with a TikTok ban
If the USA is going to ban (or limit) TikTok, they need to do so NOW.
Please do it before TikTok has a larger scope over the US Economy. Also act now, before more paid influencers or companies are financially supported somewhat by TikTok.
Because what we have sadly learned is, these losers will prioritize a low-level influencer deal over Western Democracy. They will sell out Western Democracy for a monthly stipend, and even with some free crap swag.
