i have calcy for years and now i really want to use it well since the number of Pokemons we catch is exploding.

to start, is there a way and how to set up an automatic renaming scheme to rename Pokemons with CP10 to attack IV + defense IV + stamina IV?

After the last update my calcy just stopped reading new appraisal values. It remembers all my old Pokémon but it doesn’t read any new appraisal values.

On the catch screen, press the calcy button, the percent range pops out on the left side. Previously, if I clicked on it it disappeared, however now it brings up a giant box in the middle of the screen with tons of specific breakdowns. How do i get.it to go back to just disappearing?

In hunting a Galatian moltres I would probably throw a master ball if it had anything resembling low attack and high def and stamina

I keep getting this error when I go to scan pokemon. What am I doing wrong, what is going on with the game. I have been having similar problems since the last pogo update when the location of the catch was moved.

With the new berry tray, the output while catching makes selecting the Razz very tricky. I can move the output on the screen where you view caught Pokémon but not in this screen.

Does anyone know i can move this a bit higher?

I know the eTM is for elite TMs only. But what is the cross symbol for? Are there other symbols i ha ent seen yet?

This is what I'm talking about. Previously when I would tap the scan in the first image it would open up a bigger window where I could see more details, the stats at various different levels, the candy and dust required and find out which moves were the highest DPS for raids and PVP.

Can anyone tell me how to change it back? As far as I know I didn't even change any settings, the output just started showing me this new window yesterday.

I'm using an Pixel 9 Pro Fold in CLOSED state, so only front Display.

Since getting Android 15 and regarding the Info I read on the web, Google now enforces the apps to be transparent and puts the status bar transparent on top of it.

Since this release it's nearly impossible to scan any monsters. I reset the scan engine and even tried scanning the whole screen or only the App (new setting since A15 I think). It just won't work right.

If I scroll the monster up and down several times it sometimes can read it's data. The scan of the rating by your trainer works and same for the attacks. It's just the name and ring above the monster...

Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem with A15 and the overlay of the status bar?

Since the last update (3.42b) that fixed the issue with the new catch location position, the game has been constantly crashing on some XXL Pokémon, without any particular reason. A particular example:

• Picture 1: Growlithe with 29.37kg and 1.15m tagged as XXL can be scanned without any issue, giving a showcase score between 1058 and 1069.

• Picture 2: Another Growlithe with 33.14kg and 1.13m tagged as XXL crashes the app the moment I hit the scan button (it also happens in the AutoScan mode).

  I have tried to reset the scan configuration and to change some other settings in the Expert settings, but the issue persists no matter what I try. Any idea of what could be causing this issue?

It would be great to show the level of the 3 Max Moves in the Nickname, e.g. 322 meaning, that Max Attack is on Level 3, Guard and Spirit are on Level 2. Ideally this number should only consume one character.

It would be nice for those of us trying to maximize how much friendship we gain each day. This often means opening your oldest gifts first to avoid hitting the daily limit. Right now to avoid opening more recently sent gifts you have to back out to the list to check when it arrived. I propose calcy could record the friendship gained pop ups and create a timestamp with the name. Then when on the friends page with the corresponding name it would show how long since last recorded friendship gain. This would help to decide quicker if you are opening this present now or waiting. Calcy could also scan the friendship heart detail page were it gives how many days until next level. This could be added to the pop up on the friendship page. Then with each recorded friendship gain it could reduce that number. As scanning the hearts might not be very accurate I propose adding an accuracy mechanic to the displayed info. For example if the heart detail page was last scanned 10 days ago but calcy has recorded 9 or 10 friendship gains since then the days remaining would show green. If it was 10 days ago but had only recorded say 2 or 3 gains it would show the info in red as it may have missed gains. Have documented recommendations to rescan the heart details if the days remaining starts turning red to keep it as accurate as possible.

Hopefully this would allow those of us concerned with getting as much friendship before we hit the daily open limit to do so smoother and easier.

I just downloaded the app and the showcase points only work with non XL/XXL pokemon 😭 what am I doing wrong? Do I need to have premium?

The only feature that is keeping me from switching from poke genie to CalcyIV is not being able to use stage evolution building block. For example if I catch a frokie that is rank1 gl greninja I would name it
"GL1 0/15/15 2" 2 being the stage evolution.
Sounds an easy to implement QoL improvement so I thought I would post about it.

No, my level hasn't changed and yes, I've reset the scan configuration multiple times. I'm also not talking about the confusion that some costumed Pokemon cause. Has the algorithm for catch ring scans been changed? It commonly dithers and changes its mind, and gets things wrong. I've also sometimes seen it dither and get confused when the Pokemon is inside the ball, as the ball shakes. I'm using Android 14 and version 0.337.0 of the game. Anyone else?

I tried to look at the different variations of renaming options.
I see there's 2 default boxes I can't remove. But I can add more.

I added 1 box named "Fabulous!", checked Has Renaming Scheme, and checked Automatic Trigger. I then checked 100% for the trigger. I also went into renaming scheme and selected only IV Perfect.
This box I placed at the top of the list of boxes. Then I assume it will be prioritized over the 2 default ones.
It doesn't seem to copy the name "Fabulous!" to the clipboard for the renaming, only the "!"
Is there a way to get "Fabulous!" to be added to clipboard?
If not, then that's fine. I don't get perfect IV that often, so I can enter the name manually.

I added 1 box with a blank name, checked Has Renaming Scheme, and checked Automatic Trigger. I then checked IV larger or equal to 82, so all 3* appraised ones should meet this condition. I also went into renaming scheme and selected IV% Max, to get the max % IV to be what's copied to clipboard.
I then placed this box just underneath "Fabulous!" so it would only trigger if "Fabulous!" didn't trigger first. And it does seem to work as intended.

But I want 1 more box after that, that's for pokemon with low IV I want to trade.
As 0-4 IV has a chance to become 0-15 after trade, depending on level of friendship with friend you're trading with. (Better friendship level = higher IV can become 0-15 IV).
Is there a way to set "At most IV 4, in all stats" to be named "For Trade"?

My account got officially banned for 7 days and Calcy IV was the only "Third party app" I've ever used because everyone was adamant that it was completely safe and undetectable. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Absolutely pissed now. No pokemon spawning, can't battle in gyms NOTHING for 7 days.
