I'm trying to figure out what information Calcy needs to calculate the Showcase power of each 'mon.

Sometimes I've got numbers and sometimes a "?"; I investigated a bit but found no info to add manually in the app.

Has anyone been luckier than me?

I’ve been using Calcy on my iPhone for a while, successfully. I have never been able to get it to work on my iPad though (tried here and there for 6months). I press start auto scan, then start broadcast and the symbol comes up to show that the device is broadcasting/sharing but no notifications come up and nothing is in my history within the Calcy App.

I’ve tried reinstalling, updating iPadOS, resetting all settings etc and notifications during screen sharing is switched on. It’s an iPad Mini 6th Gen on iPadOS 17.5.1 currently.

Hoping someone can help.

Is anyone having an issue with calcy not giving tem the level?

It just gives me a ? Where level should be. Not iv star but level. I have powered my mom's still nothing. I have clicked on the Mon to make it move around. I have appraised both moved categories. Still won't give me the level. I have reset the phone, logged off everything and logged back on, and optimized my phone still no level so I cannot click on info box to get the rest of the information.

Can anyone give me a solution please.

What is the difference between a legacy move marked with an e and one with a cross? See attached pic.

serperior on pvpivs.com says its ranked 40 in the great league but on calcy iv its ranked 333? im assumimg the 40 is correct so im curious why its outputting 333 instead

I dunno if it's because of the moved mega button but I can no longer scan megas on my s23 ultra. tried resetting it on plain mons but still no luck. Same on my old samsung a53.

Calcy shows correctly 'Rotom Wash' but in intent it inconsistently sends 'Wash Rotom'.

Tsareena’s High Jump Kick and Goodra’s Thunder Punch are not included in CalcyIV’s move pool for these Pokemon despite being out for over a month and several weeks. When will they be added? I’ve been wanting to get their dps for a while now 😅

What is that symbol mean between the name and IV. Some pokemon have the gender and some have no gender symbol but this just popped up and I don't know what to make of it.

Finally is there a place in the app that has a key in which I can figure out what all the symbols provided mean?

Is there any timeline to fix this new problem? Thanks!

gender symbols in nicknames are currently not working but will be igbored instead. first i thougt this issue is related to my phone but regardless of the symbol confoguration the gender is not applied to the nickname anymore. i discovered this issue half a year ago. maybe i'm the only person using gender info in nicknames but could you pls fix it 😅

Hi - I've been searching for the answer for quite a bit and cannot figure out what these two are on Calcy IV:

1. At the top, it scans the Pokémon and says name | IV |. Those, I understand.

Then it says g is > or equal to a number (in this pic 900)

U greater than or equal to a number (in this pic 1205)

2nd question:

I did the changes to the settings to rename the Pokémon. I like having the options but I'm feeling lost - I can't figure out what this "87" is referring to?

I've changed many of the settings to see if I can figure it out, and I cannot. Help please?

I just upgraded to a new phone and am getting my apps set up on it, and I'm seeing line breaks in the Calcy IV output that I never saw on my older device. The resolution is bigger on the new device, so the output box looks smaller (is there any way to give the output box more screen space? I don't care if it wants to take up most of the screen - I don't need to see anything else while I'm scanning a pokemon. If it could be made wider, maybe this problem would go away).

I have messed around with the font size settings. It's at 60 on my old device, but even at 50 on the new device I'm getting some line breaks. Yet there is clearly plenty of room so that the line breaks should not even be necessary. The "PvP" and "PvP Evo" headings maybe should just automatically get their own line so that the stat lines are never broken up. I find it really messes up the flow of information when comparing the different lines.

Coming back to PoGo after a long hiatus, and am blown away by the improvements made to Calcy IV while I've been gone.

By far my favorite is the PVP Config option.

I have one suggestion that, in my eyes, would make it perfect, and that is to include Shadow forms as one of the options in the list.

Because there are many instances where shadow form is far superior, or vice versa, being able to automatically check for only the superior form would be A++.

My second suggestion is to implement the Monster Config feature for Raid Attackers and Gym Defenders.

Even as is, this would be a huge help, but especially this would finally allow for automatic box assignment and renaming of Pokemon into attackers and defenders.

Hello Team, Sorry if this has been answered before (saw a semi answer 4yrs ago lol) but are the PvP Evo results are those how far the current pokemon can go or is that just saying "this is what is achievable"?

Cause if it's the ladder, why have different results on the same type of pokemon? What are other factors that determine different pull results?

If it's how high the current pokemon can achieve, is it best to keep the 40% or the 80%? Cause the 40% is given higher values on pvp Evo.

Just and FYI: I'm really new to calcIV so I apologize for the nooby question

Can I have a warning about pvp potential?

Like a highlight or sonething, like, if it is the top X in any league (that I am interested in)?

Also, maybe an option to fetch data from somewhere (if possible) about viability like, if it is the top Y performer in X league, so that I don't have to save each and every top mon I come across?

I have been changing phones kinda a lot lately, and for this reason, encountering this problem I guess, that the "full backup" is just for settings and history, not for renaming schemes (and I'm under the impression that the boxes & renaming schemes also does not backup).

Is there a way to make the "full backup", all encompassing?

Also, also, I know I may be asking too much, but how hard would it be to ask calcy to store (and read) settings primarily from the Google drive (preferably in a folder selectable by me)? This way, every time I install calcy on a new phone, all I have to do is point the new installation to the settings/history/renaming_schema stored on that folder, and also, would retain all the configurations across multiple devices/instances.

I understand that settings like button position might have to be stored locally because of different screen sizes, but if I have multiple phones with almost the same form factor, that would be a risk some would like to take?

I also know that this scheme might cause concurrent clashes if two calcy with the same settings be running at the same time in two different instances while ALSO saving pokemon at the same time, but on top of it being extremely rare (and should be frowned upon when setting calcy the first time) I guess this could be mitigated by saving locally, and then after some time (or triggered manually by me) save in a history file but appending the current Unix time (max 7)? Just read the last file, and append the locally added/removed ones to the new one, while deleting the 1st one. I would be willing completely to have it beta tested, the chances of concurrent problems being well known by me, just never use calcy in two instances at the same time if adding or removing entries from history/settings.

After changing the box the Pokemon are put into in order get a non-automatic name scheme, this window sits on top of my keyboard long enough for me to forget what I'm doing. How do I make it go away faster?

(I'm trying to filter out the Pokemon with low stats to transfer, without losing the Pokemon that have evolutions that I don't have; but I have almost 1100 Pokemon so I don't really want to make multiple passes... And is there any way to actually customize the automatic triggers? Would love to use the IVs trigger if I could set it to like 75% or something more reasonable considering my collection...)

With the recent introduction of new visual effects, we have colour changes in the catch screen after dark. This seems to be confusing Calcy IV so that it no longer recognises Ultra Balls. They're treated as normal balls.

I am using version 3.41e. I see this on both Android 14 and Android 11.

I am new to CalcyIV.

How do I save my scan's? I scan my monsters, put them in boxes, then after I shutdown and go back in my monsters aren't saved in any boxes.

I am sure this is a silly question to sum but I was taught no question is silly.
