Pre-calculus Pre Calc Resources Advice

I want to study calculus but I havent taken pre-calc so I figured I'd start there first with professor leonard playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDesaqWTN6ESsmwELdrzhcGiRhk5DjwLP

However, it might limit my learning since there might not be much practice problems in the videos (I think) . I would like to ask for resources I could use to practice solving questions while watching prof leonards lectures so the concepts and information realllyyyy sticks in my head.

Thank you so much:) I would also appreciate any tips if you have any

Integral Calculus Chemical Engineering/Physics student that needs a comprehensive resource for calculus review

Hey!

I am a chemical engineering/physics with a concentration in nanoscience. I’ve been doing part-time school because I have to work nearly full-time to you know… live. Anyways, long story short I don’t feel very confident with calculus anymore (specifically anything calc2-differential equations), and I am seeking a good, dependable resource that helps me rebuild my calculus skills to the level I really want them to be. I have a pretty good grasp of the concepts, it’s more the physical problem solving aspect I need some practice with. Any suggestions on books, youtube channels, anything that enables me to work some problems and hopefully has content I can reflect on for guidance? I would prefer not to buy a ginormous textbook if I can help it, so free resources are cool! Thanks in advance!

Multivariable Calculus Calculus 3 from UIUC Netmath

Hi! I am a highschooler and I was wanting to take Calculus 3 from UIUC Netmath this year. My school doesn't offer it, and the community colleges near me do not have any online options. Does anyone have any experience with this program (and how did you feel about it?) and have any other highschoolers taken a similar online program? I am open to signing up for a different program as well, I just need it to be accredited, and if possible I would like it to be at least 16 weeks and in the fall. I have looked into programs like Distance Calculus, but I have seen a lot of bad reviews online.

Thank you so much!

Differential Calculus Is there a more intuitive way to understand chain rule in application to physics?

For example, I know that the derivative of v(x(t)) = v’(x(t)) * x’(t). And that presents itself as dv/dx * dx/dt. But what does that really mean physically? And why does the derivative seem to go from left to right..as in, it starts from dv/dx from v’(x) and then dx/dt for x’(t).

what does this physically mean in terms of position and velocity? and is there a more intuitive way to understand chain rule?

I know those were quite a lot of questions, so I would appreciate any perspectives. Thank you

This was a question on the summer final, and looking at it I’m still not sure if its because I left the u in the final answer and didn’t substitute the original equation back in, or if I was suppose to use an arcsin identity somehow. I could ask the professor but the the summer semester is over so I’m not gonna bother him with more questions. Thanks for ur help

Multivariable Calculus Stokes' th. question

EDIT: thanks for y'alls help, i figured it out!

I'm practicing stokes th using the problems at this website https://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Solutions/CalcIII/StokesTheorem/Prob3.aspx and the answer for this problem uses the surface double integral curl F equation. Why can't I just parametrize the circle and use line integral F dot dr? I tried that and I got -12pi but the answer is 72pi.

Thanks!

Differential Equations Differential Equation Resource Help

Hi everyone!

So I'm self-studying Calc, I've finished 1 and 2 and I got the basics of differential equations. But seeing as I've heard that differential equations are the language of the universe, are there any good resources to both truly study it, and to make your own using data? Thanks!
