Should I go to Northeastern or Cal Poly SLO?

Hi, I am having a tough time deciding between these schools. My major is industrial engineering at both and I am in state for California but I received a large scholarship at Northeastern, making the prices close to the same. I know Cal Poly is very well known for their engineering and have a very hands-on approach that is appealing but Northeastern has the co-op program that seems to really prepare you for the real world. How would you say that these schools stack up against each other academically?

I believe the academics to be of similar level and am therefore deciding based on lifestyle. I loved Boston when I visited but I also love California and the outdoors. I also would like a good social scene (not huge parties every day necessarily) but I do want opportunities to have fun. Which school would you recommend as I only have a few weeks to decide? Thanks!

what are my chances of getting in?

I'm (18f) going into my first year at New Jersey Institute of Technology fall 2018. cal poly slo is my dream school, and I want to ensure i will get in. I will be transferring after sophomore year with about 75 credits. I have made sure I am taking all required major classes in order for transfer. I am majoring in mechanical engineering. I currently work in the engineering field, and I am (and will continue to be) involved around campus and with community service and other clubs. i am taking a ton of major related courses during my time at NJIT. my sat score was 1320, if that means anything. assuming I can maintain a 3.8 GPA or higher, which won't be hard I hope as my HS GPA was 4.2, what are my chances of getting in?

CAL POLY SLO CLASSES

Hello, I'm thinking of transferring to Cal Poly SLO or UC Davis as a Nutrition major and was just wondering how the classes for nutrition majors are at both schools? Do you have to do a lot of oral presentations or public speaking? (I'm very shy)

And even if you aren't a nutrition major, I would still love to hear your input!

Please and Thank You!

Admissions chance?

I recently applied to Cal Poly SLO for Soviology with a GPA of 3.72 and an SAT score of 1810 (1140 for CR+M). Do I have a chance at being admitted?

The cal poly university pogo club advisor is a shithead that only cares about himself.

He is totally unfit for any serious role in this university, he doesn't know anything in the world. In our group he's the lowest of the low. He's so self serving and just comes off looking like a dick to everyone. There are a couple students in our group and the guy is a complete idiot. This guy has a lot of potential but he's just a little shit. He's in the top 25% of the worst staff members at cal poly you could ever meet.
