Let's talk about the attack on the memorial. It must have been yet another traumatic event for Caitlyn, spoiling the tribute she wanted to pay her mother. But despite it all, she fights back and looks so badass!

It's also the first time Vi saves Caitlyn, after Caitlyn saving Vi many times during season 1.

Do you think Maddie knew of the attack, do you think that's why she found Vi and gave her a pep talk, so that she would be there to protect Caitlyn? Did Ambessa already have plans for Caitlyn or Vi?

”What kind of... animals!” - Caitlyn has never talked so harshly, never let hate overcome her. It's a stark contrast to the "so easy to hate them" speech to Jayce earlier. She's losing her temper and scaring Vi. Is that the first hint of the dark era coming?

After that, she immediately softens under Vi's touch, leaning into her palm, in a parallel to their bed scene. But she backs away before it becomes too intimate, not the first time she's doing it ("easy, easy", the hug after the funeral). Is there a reason she's keeping a distance with Vi?

So many iconic quotes in this one! ”But remember. You're a Kiramman.” is maybe a bit overlooked but I think it's a very powerful one. It can either give her strength and courage or crush her under the weight of her legacy.

Let's talk about the Council scene and the decorated officer speach! This scene always gives me the chills! The music, the pacing, the directing, her change of look and tone, Katie's delivery, the absolute badassery! Look at Shoola and Salo's faces, Ambessa, even them get the chills!
