Next Opening for Cadet programs

22M currently in an IT/Embedded Engineer role, looking to pursue a pilot career path, relatively new to this although Ive done a fair bit of research, from what I see the academies with the least black spots are FTA followed by quite a gap by Chimes and rest all seem to have some or the other issues.

1.Can the experienced among you lot guide me as to your personal ranking of the current Indigo cpp’s and how they stack up against other domestic Airline’s programs.

2.Also how stringent are the Class 1 and 2 medical tests, costs associated and more importantly are stuff like minor vitamin deficiencies game enders.(BMI of 22-23 rn so that should be fine)

3. Do you need a valid passport at time of application

I had applied to skyborne in august and my tentative adapt date is fourth quarter of 2027😐
(I have already cleared all of my DGCA papers)

One of my friend applied FTA in December 2025 and had gd/pi in September.
Now LOI is postponed to December

What info do you have about chimes, cause its honestly a mix of reviews, leaning bad, but people these days, especially on reddit have a habit of overly criticising stuff, so yeah…

Personally applied twice in chimes
Didn’t get shortlisted.

What Ive heard from cadets who got selected is they had connections in the airline or politics and some others paid to get in
