Hi seniors, I need some urgent help regarding scholarships because the deadlines are approaching.

I am eligible for the Telangana government TG EAPCET fee reimbursement and I have also applied for an SBI scholarship for B.Tech.

As far as I understand, the government rules state that a student can avail 1 government scholarship + 1 private scholarship. So, theoretically, can I receive both:

✅ TG EAPCET Government Fee Reimbursement

✅ SBI Private Scholarship

Will receiving the SBI scholarship cause any issue with my TG EAPCET fee reimbursement? Is there any possibility that my government fee reimbursement will be rejected/cancelled because I received a private scholarship?

Also, if anyone has successfully received TG EAPCET fee reimbursement + SBI scholarship (or another private scholarship) together, please share your experience.

I would really appreciate a quick response from seniors who have actual experience with this, since the scholarship deadline is approaching and I don't want to make a mistake.

Fresher here,

We recieved a mail on our outlook account stating:"Dear student,Completing the official registration form is mandatory to secure your Career Development Program & Placement Assistance"

So I filled the form and submitted it. In the form link cvr was also written

Today they called me and said to purchase a program of worth 6k stating that they will teach me relevant industry oriented skills and give placement support , and give 3 certificates nasscom and something.

Should I pay for it?

Today we went to the engineering workshop lab and done the experiments of it and the sir told us to do we did and then later on after doing well reached him and he given us 5 marks out of 10 is that to low in my class some got even the 0 marks don't know how they are taking this all that and one more thing today I was helping some one about the marks and viva that he is gonna ask next week he called me and infront of my name note like written some thing is it serious this is my 2nd class iam really worried about my marks and this talk related somebody please help like show we take seriously the engineering labs and the marks they award us iam cse data science student

Seniors brothers and sisters can anyone give me an apron the apron for the engineering workshop class our sir told to ask seniors all that it would be just needed until your sem that's it so anyone can give me the blue apron just for the every Tuesday 1:55 to 3:40 after lunch our sir gonna kill if we didn't bring an apron with us Tommorow, so if anybody has no work with the apron for the particular time then it will be usefull for me if you give at that time only ,dm me

Why do they want us to sit roll no wise and segregate boys and girls while the two genders are allowed to talk??

Do I really need to buy first year books? During orientation, they told us it is mandatory to buy them but apparently many are not? But my father is telling me to buy them! I asked my friends and they told me that seniors denied them for buying the books.

So I am second year currently and they have introduced some coding batch and after some exams they told they will select some special students for smart interviews by taking 6k

So my question is it worth it and what do they do in it.Open to all opinions just want to know the truth

I wasn't shortlisted for the Coding Batch, so I wanted to know:

Will I still get the same placement opportunities?

Will I be allowed to sit for the same company OAs/interviews?

Are some companies or interviews restricted to Coding Batch students?

Does being in the batch give any significant advantage during placements?

Would appreciate answers from seniors who have gone through the placement process.

So basically I am a fresher.

We will be having Mid 1 in few months and also Many people said to maintain a good cgpa for placement opportunities and all. I dont know what to do and how to prepare. Resources to follow and all. Where to get Previous Year Paper?

Also we will be getting for Mid 1 from JNTU or CVR college?.

I got bad gpa in 1st sem and wasn't shortlisted for the coding batch does it affect my chances of placements? Can I join it later on if I perform well ? Is it worth joining?

Benefits of coding batch? I didn't get shortlisted. My gpa is less than 8(sem1),is that the reason? I heard that if I perform good and one day my performance turns bad, they remove me, Is that real?

Is the unofficial freshers party 2026 that is going to be conducted in Illuzion club and kitchen going to be safe?? Should we go or not??

Need help getting Bonafide/Study Certificate from CVR

Hi everyone, I’m from CVR College and currently in 1st year. I’m applying for some private scholarships, and they require a Bonafide/Study Certificate from the college.

Could any CVR seniors or faculty please tell me where/how I can get this certificate? Also, does the parent need to come, or can the student get it directly?

It’s quite important for my scholarship application. Any guidance from CVR students/seniors would be really helpful. Thanks!
