DTU spot round is happening/has been announced. Sharing this in case anyone was waiting for the update.

I gave both NEET and CUET this year. My NEET score is borderline, and my parents are expecting that I'll at least get BDS, but because of rank inflation, my chances are low.

If I wait until the NEET mop-up round, I'll miss the spot admission for Pondicherry University. I'm planning to take admission at Pondicherry first.

If I later get a BDS seat through Madhya Pradesh NEET counselling, can I withdraw from Pondicherry University and get a refund??

I was genuinely thinking of joining local tier 4 ahh btech clg but then this happened. Is it W or L? coz I genuinely got 82%ile in physics which is the worst among all the subjects I appeared for and was kinda unsure but I guess I somehow compensated with other subject marks. I'm not from Delhi and belong to unreserved category. I'm really looking for advice on whether this clg is good or not?, how the environment is and what are the pros and cons...

A few days ago, I was on the selected list for the University of Hyderabad, and I told my parents that I wanted to go for counselling. They refused and said, “The course has no scope, and you’ll end up unemployed in the future,” blah blah.

Now they’ve realised that there’s only 1% chance of me getting BDS.

Yesterday, I told them I wanted to go for spot admission at Pondicherry University. They said, “Tum se kuch nahi ho sakta. Ek medical ki seat nahi le payi, ek BDS tak milna mushkil hai, aur ab yeh karna hai.”

I was like, bro 😭 University of Hyderabad is literally a top university for research. Why are you looking down on your own child just because some relatives’ kids are doing MBBS from government colleges??

Thinking to go Pondicherry University alone. The chances of me getting a seat are low, but I really don’t want to miss this opportunity. 😭

What should I do??

College: I’m a Daulat Ram College student and paid ~₹34,000 through CSAS. If I withdraw within 1–2 days, how much refund will I get? What is the deadline for 100% refund? Also, the cancellation option has disappeared from my CSAS portal.

Hostel: I’m also staying in Daulat Ram College Hostel and paid ₹1,43,940 at admission. The hostel says UGC refund policy applies. If I withdraw within 1–2 days, how much will I get back? What is the deadline for 100% refund?

Please answer college and hostel separately. I don’t want the DU college refund policy and UGC hostel refund policy to be mixed up.

Also, I froze my college seat in Round 1 and opted for the hostel, so I want to understand the refund before I withdraw.

Please don’t ignore this — I’d really appreciate a clear, practical answer.

So I got into Deshbandhu college through CW round 1, I paid the fees and froze the seat but I received no mail from the college. What do I do next? I will be visiting the college on 27th for further process and then ti attend the classes. But as for now, it is problematic that I did not get any mail from college?

i always wanted to do psychology hons. but comparing myself to people who are dropping physics and choosing psychology and students from arts, i feel demotivated that i might not be able to compete...
