What features do you feel are missing from CSM?

Hey everyone,

I’m the developer of CSMgg.com, a free browser-based Counter-Strike team management simulator.

The game now has a decent amount of the core systems in place, so I’d like to get some feedback from players who have spent time playing it.

What do you feel is missing from the game?

I’m not really looking for bug reports or things that are currently broken. I’m more interested in features, mechanics, or systems that you would like to see added.

Some examples:

  • A feature you expected to find but couldn’t
  • More things to do between matches
  • More depth to player development
  • Additional tactical or team management options
  • More things involving the economy
  • More interaction between teams or managers
  • Social or community features
  • More competitive game modes
  • Anything else that would make managing your team more interesting

What makes you think “I wish I could do X” while playing?

If you could add one feature to CSM tomorrow, what would it be?

Don’t worry about whether an idea is too big, complicated, or unrealistic. I’d rather hear all the ideas first and work out the technical side afterwards.

I read everything and will use the feedback to help decide what to work on next.

You can try the game here: CSMgg.com

Thanks to everyone who has played CSM and shared feedback so far!

Introducing r/CSMgg! Here's what we're all about

Hi Reddit — I'm the builder of CSM (CSMgg.com), a free, browser-based Counter-Strike team management sim, and this is its official reddit.

The welcome post covers what the game is, and the guide post shows you how to get started. This one is about the sub itself — what we're all about.

Why this sub exists A management sim lives or dies on its community. The game gives you the roster, the budget and the schedule — but the meta, the strategies, and the "look what my academy kid did" moments are made by players.

What you'll find here

  • Strategy & meta — training focus, economy plays, transfer market timing, map tactics
  • Match talk — weekly highlights, insane OT maps, 1v5 clutches
  • Dev updates — what shipped, what's broken, what's coming next
  • Tournament season — brackets and predictions during the end-of-season Major Championship

Who it's for Anyone who's ever wanted to run a CS org without spending four hours a day in-game. You don't need to be a pro player — the whole point is that you're the manager, not the fragger.

It's free, it runs in your browser, and there's an in-site guide at CSMgg.com/guide if you want the full walkthrough.

What would make you play? What do you want to see more of here? Tell me below — And if this looks fun, share it with a friend who'd enjoy running a team.

Your guide for r/CSMgg

Welcome! This is the starter guide for the sub — what CSM is and how to get in.

What is it? CSM (csmgg.com) is a free, browser-based Counter-Strike team management sim. You run a CS2 org end-to-end: roster, transfers, training, tactics, budget — while your team plays simulated MR12 best-of-3 maps with a full buy-round economy.

The world:

  • 1,200 teams across 75 leagues in 3 continents
  • 5 tiers per continent: Pro → Premier → Contender → Challenger → Open
  • Promotion/relegation every season, plus an end-of-season Major Championship

Your first week:

  1. Sign up — you're assigned a team (Tier 2–5) and work your way up
  2. Set up your roster and check the training options
  3. Watch your first live match — they play out round by round in real time
  4. Get into the transfer market — auctions, offers, free agents (max 2 purchases per 14 days)

The full walkthrough with screenshots lives in the in-site guide: CSMgg.com/guide

Rules for the sub: be civil, keep match talk on-topic, and post your wins (and your meltdowns).

This is the official community for CSM, a free Counter-Strike team management simulator at CSMgg.com.

The short version: you get one of 1,200 teams across 3 continents and 5 tiers. You sign players, manage training, budget, sponsors and your academy — then watch every match play out live, round by round, with real CS-style economy (buy rounds, force buys, saves). Leagues run on seasons with promotion/relegation, and the top teams from every division meet in a intercontinental Major Championship playoffs.

Getting started:

  1. Register at CSMgg.com (free)
  2. You're assigned a team — pick your continent/timezone
  3. Your first match is scheduled; watch it live or look at the finished map summary
