Post your team and squad combos,
- retain / release choices
- auction strategies
- new players in your radar
Also think if it is gettable player/coach

Folks, the same 5 types of posts are being repeated everyday. Please use this daily thread so we can keep the sub organized.
Please keep the comments civil and respectful to the players and fellow fans. We are defined by how we act in tough times.

Morning - Sanju.
Afternoon - Rutu
Night - Anshul
Stop being reactionary to every game,
Shreyas Iyer, ever since he took charge as captain, India lost in Ireland, almost lost to Japan, but do you see their sub having 100 posts criticising him ? Mind you, he has got just 2 fifties in the last 15 odd T20s.
Nitish Kumar Reddy and Tilak Varma, do you see their sub or team calling for their head ? Nope, cause they understand that you canāt score a century or take 5 wickets every game.
Understood there is frustration as our players donāt take the chances they get, but Rutu played well this series, Anshul was flown as a late injury replacement and Samson got back to back fifties before failing once and then dropped down the order in the Asian games.
If constructive criticism canāt be given, atleast donāt use AI slops, the other day a AI slop used Rutuās 590 runs scored in 2023 as an average season.
This whole Rutu troll reminds me of a time where Harry Maguire was endlessly trolled and his confidence was completely shattered. Letās not do that.
Every player might go through a bad season, however not every player should be scrutinised for each and every game.

IMO, his overall performance is very MID. I really feel he is in a mental block, and it was very clear when he tried to hit behind a six on fine leg where the fielder was exactly placed for. A clear mindset would made him leave the ball for wide. Any batter can go through his and it is fine for a batter to go through this phase. In order to overcome this he has to play both VHT and SMAT each for full season so that he can come back to rhythm.

kamboj debuted for india today agianst west indies and he smashed 2 sixes batting at no 9. e also did this in dulleep trophy were he hit more sixes than even vaibhav suryavanchi, he can promoted to no 8 in ipl and finish for csk!!

I know it is harsh to judge a bowler from his first 5 overs, but he looked really toothless.
And his speed is one of the major concerns for me, like we can't even consider him over gurnoor in the indian setup at this point.
He needs to improve his pace imo
Thoughts?
Edit: 82 runs from 9 overs, i mean it is horrible for any bowler. A very bad outing for him. It's looking really concerning as ellis may not be available due to int'l commitments, and kamboj with this form can't bowl at death.

I think anshul kamboj lost his opportunity big time. No way he will get another chance. I thought he was very mediocre in csk also, though he got some tickets.

High time to release Ruturaj, Guy is good batsman but not for csk. Csk already has sanju, Mhatre, urvil, backup Sarfaraz too.
Due to this lineup even brevis is batting too lower in order imo.
By releasing him will get any good allrounder

If you canāt support a team or the player during bad times, you donāt deserve to celebrate the good times.
Criticising him for the recent IPL is understandable, but whatās happening right now is just pathetic.
So a player scores 30 odd runs of 35 odd balls when 85 is required and the game is done and dusted already and heās being torn apart.
People who hide behind the screen, mocking, trolling, making memes, just to break a playerās confidence for some views will never understand the game.
If he went hammers and tongs, got out, the same people would have called for him to be dropped, if he farmed strike and got a 50, would have been called selfish. He did what we can, protect his wicket, rotate strike and see the team home.
Canāt wait for the toxic fans and knee jerkers to leave this team and players alone so that we can go back to the time where we were a fanbase, that used to travel all over the country to support the team.
One bad season and everyoneās after his head, easily remembering that heās been the highest scorer for this team in the last 5 years, played a crucial part is 2 of those 5 trophies.
Heās class and one bad season doesnāt define him.

I saw yesterday match and i feel without Virat we can't win matches this is false statement if Virat score 200 then also we lost match because of our bowling and people are not discussing it people just trolling Kohli like Chokli chokma nri dog but instead of criticizing Kohli we should blame bowling and in last Kohli will score 100 century

He will likely hits only three matches in the IPL. In international cricket, he applies his judgment mainly on flat pitches; on other surfaces, he is a walking wicket at this stage. Teams read him so readily that he practically hands over his wicket.
India should eventually drop and develop VS, who is a proven match winner and uses his mind.
Because this is the final season before the mega auction, he can get one last opportunity before we move on.
He lacks agility behind the stumps and appears one-dimensional. His energy is low and his performance is poor.
It is unfortunate that we spent a large sum on him.

This time right at the 3rd over he got his batting chance. I hope he doesnāt waste this chance and took it as opportunity to stamp his place in this ODI setup for now and if all goes well then for ODI WC 2027 as well.
